It feels more natural than my old one , it's easier on my wrist . It comes with two bases and it pivots so it has two angles , three including flat like my old one , It can run as a wired unit with the usb cable while the battery is charging , my old one couldn't do that .
I saw those wedges. I can see where that would be comfortable. The guy said a charge lasts up to 4 months. Even if it's just two that's pretty good.

Watching a You Tube review of that thing. Looks kinda neat. I can see where it would take some getting used to.
One blind idiot on youtube said it had no page up or down buttons , they're right above the ball itself and they work perfectly in Winbloze and Linux . If I leave a comment it'll kill a thousand snowflakes , :)

    That's good , it's up to date then .
Agree. I guess it doesn't just update the changes. Just rewrites the entire thing. Took about an hour and a half I think. So now that I have the system and all files backed up my hard drive will be just fine.

I use a program on Linux that's called Timeshift that updates only the files that have changed , definite timesaver . Backups take about 20 seconds and it will restore in under a minute . I hope they port it to Winbloze at some point . It's Linux only for now .

That Windows SyncToy CMD linked me does just the changes. As you say, updates take only seconds. It even lists the changes so you can preview them first. Not sure why they dont have the system image do that. But then I dont know why they dont have SyncToy native in Windows instead of having to download it. It’s better than their stock backup program.

I'll have to take a look at it then , I don't worry too much about Winbloze screwing up since my documents are backed up to two Linux drives but there's no reason not to run it as well if it makes it easy .

Mine is a trackball , the new thing in mice is this , definitely different .

Very similar to the one I’ve used since 2012. Mine is made by Evoluent. It was the only one at the time that was available in a left-handed version. It’s wired which was the only downside. But I’m used to it. It’s nice not constantly having to put batteries in it.

This has helped avoid wrist & forearm pain. I love this little bugger. Cost $80 and worth every penny. Took a little getting used to but felt naturally pretty quickly. As a bonus, no one else can use it properly, so no one touched my computer.

And the System Image has completed. Actually, I already had a system image on that same hard drive. So I guess I just wrote over it.

Well done! Now you update it every month or so and you’re covered. insurance you don’t pay have for and get nothing.

I don't like being wired to the pc , I have a wireless keyboard too . I have rechargeable AA's for the keyboard and the old trackball , they'll run for a month or more on a charge . The new trackball has fast charging Lipos in it and recharges via usb . They claim up to four months on a full charge . I'll be happy if it's half that due to my usage .

    LA, I was talking about 1984. :)

I also have a trackball, that is all I've used for a very long time. I wore two Logitech trackballs out. The first one was wired, the second one was not. The second was an M570. I loved it, but it didn't last 3 years.
So now I'm on my 3rd trackball mouse, it is an Elecom EX-G. So far so good, I don't want to brag on it. (I've had it maybe two years) I chose the wired version. I have gone completely back to wired, I trust that more.
