My area had some very light snow yesterday and last night. It didn't amount to anything because it was so light though. The wind chill when I got up was 21 degrees. Even so it doesn't seem as cold as yesterday to me. Thursday should bring warmer weather, but then another cold front will follow by this weekend.
Evening.....Well the first shot of winter in due tonight. Freezing rain with some sleet mixed around midnight till morning. I'll take the heat of summer thank you.
Today I took care of my grandsons. They do keep you busy! It is still cold, but more tolerable today. My poor plants are in shock. I took some inside, but covered those that I could that were left outside. The trees had not dropped all of their leaves yet, before the brutal cold hit. Hopefully they weren't damaged by it.
I've been vaping some Heavenly tobacco and watching a show. It is good to sit down, and relax.

Mid 30's and damp here . Just had a late nite bacon sandwich . Thick sliced toasted white bread , none of that whole grain crap with the texture of sandpaper , real mayo , screw that lite garbage , thick sliced perfectly ripe creole tomatoes and enough bacon to clog two sets of arteries . This is what happy tastes like .

Got the MIL coming Saturday for 10 days.
Walker, cane, shower handles, potty stool, etc. all ready to go. Check.

Hooked her bedroom TV up to a 100w/channel amplifier and Formula Six loudspeakers. Check.
Pick up rugs, clutter or trip hazards. Check.
Throw cat out of the house. Check. Don't have a cat but gonna throw him out anyway.
Practice cleaning up my language, biting my tongue, and finding sanctuary somewhere. Check.
Stock said sanctuary with liquor and sedatives. Check.
Remove revolver from house so I don't do anything stupid. Check.
Pay off cemetery plot just in case. Mine and hers. Check.
I'm ready.

The weather was nice here today. Probably mid-50's this calm afternoon after a 30 degree start this morning.
