Turns out I had no problem getting it set right. Problem was she forgot to put water in it. You kinda assume water was put in. I had the appliance down quickly. She does make her own coffee. I certainly wont make it. As I said, I have never made a pot of coffee in my life. Literally never! It's a programmable maker. She had it programmed right but didn't put H2O in it. She gets demanding when things don't pan out.
People ask why I don't like coffee. When I was maybe three, my dad spilled a cup of hot coffee all over my bare legs. Burned me up bad. It landed me in the hospital. My earliest memory (Gee, I wonder why). Any chance coffee and I could ever have a relationship ended when I was three. Took maybe a few sips of it during the course of my life and it tasted horrible. Probably consumed 1.5 oz of coffee in my life and never made it for anyone. Find it unexpectedly in candy and stuff and it tastes like ..... Love the smell of it though.

I'm glad you're giving us updates. I'm sad your dad's mishap ruined your chances of enjoying one of life's great pleasures. I'm sorry no one has ever made you a proper cup of coffee. If it tastes like ...., you're doing it wrong.

wellll.. I managed to get about 6 hrs of sleep... wifey was worried about me sleeping as long as I was, so she woke me up at 6pm. She didnt know I went to Lake Charles last nite ( she thought I had slept from 12am to 6 pm (( 18 hrs)) now my sleeping habits are gonna be royally botched for the next couple of days...
Retic, I still have not made the changes yet. After I read your post, I decided to recheck my dns settings for the heck of it. For some odd reason it only had one set of the numbers in. I don't know what happened to the second set. (alternative) They were both there when I originally typed them in and clicked okay. Now it seems this thing is really doing much better. I will get to that other stuff as time allows. Thanks for the help.

I really got a late start yesterday (4am, which was 3 hours late, Hula) and I was thinking about how badly I wanted four day holiday to just come on and get here. So I called the Office and asked how many vacation days do I have left.
"Six".
"How 'bout I just take tomorrow off ?"
Five Glorious Days of Nothing !!!!
... and I wake up on my own at 2:30 am. But at least I don't have to drive "Blue Wednesday". The day before Thanksgiving is traditionally the busiest travel day of the year. I think I will just sit on my .... today and enjoy the aroma wafting out of the kitchen as Mamaw prepares for tomorrow's feast.
