But then she gives away the turkey, potatoes, stuffing, broccoli casserole, deviled eggs ...
Only thing left are apple pie, pumpkin pie and banana pudding. And gravy.

I used to do that too. Mostly because I don’t like turkey. I’m glad she at least left you some pie.

anyway... Retics Smoked Pork loin turned out incredible... moist all the way thru, smoked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were gone in moments, and the shrimp stuffing... well there is some still left due to the excessive intake of pork and potatoes... but of the few bites I did do, it was wonderful...

everyone needs to convince Retic to give up his recipe on the mashed potatoes... the wifey gave a double thumbs up and a triple yum award for the food... Im still miserably stuffed to vote properly but Im leaning towards the same vote the wifey did ... maybe even a quad yum..

Sounds amazing! I vote @retic1959 shares the recipe for mashed potatoes! It made me smile to think of all of you sharing a great meal. I hope Mrs BK is feeling better. Enjoy your time off.

Crock pot Ham(w pineapple slices and maraschino cherries), candied yams, stuffing (box), gravy, succotash, Broccoli and cheese. Left over cranberry sauce.
This time I am cooking .... might sub corn-on-the-cob for succotash.
(thankfully, there is Allrecipes.com)

You might wanna add a bottle or two of root beer to your ham , works quite well with the pineapple and cherries .
