Morning. Ate too much yesterday, of course. Wifey knocked it out of the park on Thanksgiving lunch. All the typical stuff.

My DIL brought over some Jun Kombucha (Blueberry Basil flavor), which I had never heard of before. I tried it and REALLY liked it.

Wild Tonic Jun Kombucha

I suspect it may be a love it or hate it type of drink.

Kitchen faucet fixed. Had to run to Home Despot to get a part for it. Geez Louise, even HD was jam packed. They have stuff in the aisles for Xmas plus there are a ton of people. I just wanted to fix my faucet. What does bicycles and poinsettias have to do with home improvement? Was happy to get out of there.

So... Wal Mart Supercenter is a madhouse today (no surprise) but the grocery side was calm.
Asked for a "plain old ham", not spiral cut or honey cured or salted. They had a few leftover, but they were fatty and marbled and just didn't look right. So I got something call "Kentucky's Finest" (I always thought that was bourbon) boneless hickory smoked ham. Still going in the crock pot with pineapple slices, cherries and root beer. Figure I'll just let it go on 'High' until I can measure about 140 - 150*F with an internal thermometer, then set on low and prepare the rest of the meal.
Papaw IS GOING TO HAVE LEFTOVERS, DAMMITT !!!

I always thought of myself as "Kentucky's Finest" and have been called a ham. Enjoy that thing, Papaw, slow cooking - a smoked ham at its best.

In my (limited) experience, my vote is for you as Kentucky’s finest. :)

I’m sure the ham is good. I’ve had Kentucky bourbon, which was nice but way too much for me to handle. I’ve enjoyed Kentucky bluegrass. But your ability to crack me up tops the list.

Speaking of vaping... ;)

I’ve been needing a second dual 18650 mod. (Okay, not *need*.. a fairly valid want. Just work with me here.)

So I venture out there to see what can be found in the $50 range. I like box mods with rounded lines. Not so easy to find! Mods now come in weird shapes, including one that’s like a gun handle. They have jagged edges flaring up from their tops. They have diamond cuts protruding from their middles.

Happily, I like my sigelei Kaos Spectrum and found a similarly shaped sigelei Fuchai Duo 3 for $34. Black Friday sale at checkout brought it down to $27. I’m happy! It’s not the one with the extra battery cover that lets you add a third battery. It’s a year & a half old model. Should work just fine for me. If not, it wasn’t a big investment.

Good morning Army!

Mornin', General.

My lovely bride of thirty-eight years has announced that because I am going park my carcass in front of

1. Michigan Ohio flipping to Florida Florida State
2. Auburn Alabama
3. Louisville UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY (chance this year for first ten win season since 1977 which was the year we recruited out of the Eddyville state penitentiary and were placed on probation, just a joke about the penitentiary recruiting but it was pretty bad)

the bill of fare for the evening will be Thanksgiving Revisited, heated (by me) in the microwave and then served (again by me) where upon the dishwasher will be loaded and run (again by me). Fortunately, no yellow flag from me, I love the leftovers. She and our daughter are going to meet today - I was not invited so I didn't have to respectfully decline.

I think at the end of the day I will say, "And a good time was had by all".

Before I go to play mad scientist with dough... I must applaud @PapawBrett for the generous batch of DIY tobaccos! I know I was supposed to allow longer steep, but I went for it. Stoved Virginia mixed into HHV Nada is delicious! Satisfied that tobacco craving that hit me thanks to my downstairs neighbor’s cigar breaks on his balcony. Many thanks, Brett! :)
