I am taking the 31st and 1st off ( new years eve... get blasted and recoupe on the 1st) trying to decide if its gonna be rum or beer

I did, General, our daughter was down with her two dogs. Fortunately her two and our two get along well but even so, it was riotous. I hope that you, too, had a happy Christmas, I haven't seen your day by day countdown clock, so, I guess that it probably was pretty good (given the alternative).

We had a great time yesterday. Went to neighbors for about five hours yesterday morning and into the afternoon. That was mayhem. Then neighbors came over from about 5 - 11PM. Missing a lot of people for dinner this year. Had only three families this year (only one kid). And we blabbed and blabbed and blabbed. Funny, one of the couples is a recently retired Jewish couple (from Long Island). I invite the Christians and they don't show up because they fight. I invite the New York Jews and we got along great...on Christmas!
I went to my (one of my) SIL's for a couple hours on Christmas eve for chit chatting, and had a 5 hour conversation with my son on the phone...
then on Christmas day we went to another SIL's and spent the afternoon with her, my niece, my MIL and her husband (and of course my husband) ..
I had a great time with them all, and we had a lovely meal. we did exchange gifts so I got a cornucopia (a real one with actual fruits), and a vacuum cleaner (great for a backup!) ..
I must be difficult to buy for or something.. hahaha.
but it was wonderful, and I'm very happy.. the happiness is such that today I feel that I'm positively glowing...
I can't get out of bed, I way overdid it physically, but I'm good with that. it was totally worth it all. I'm hoping for good television today.. lol
