Good morning ,army. Today is hubs "Celebration of Life" and due to the storm I spent the night at my daughters to be closer. We didn't get half the forecasted snow but now it's changed to freezing crap. For joy. All I gotta do is make it through this day.

Took a couple pans of water to get my truck door open. It was frozen shut and no pushing or pulling was going to do it. Looks like the bolt broke flush which may or may not help. For now I'm letting it run to get thawed out. Got the hood up and I can see it from the kitchen window to keep a watch on it. No leaking at idle.

I hope the day is a wonderful celebration and you are flooded with loving moments and reminded of all the blessings you had together. Glad you are with your daughter and a bit closer to where you need to be.

the wifey is all excited about todays "football day"... the only thing to be expected from her today is alot of yelling, cursing, and verbal abuse at the TV... :)

there are somethings I will never understand.... o_O
I never yell, cuss, or throw things when I watch sports. :)

I used to have to boil a pot of water every morning in the winter and pour it over the fuel pump on my old 73 Chevy Impala to get it started.

I'm done with the bolt. There's no room for me to work on it. On top of that I fumbled the other bolt down by the motor and can't find it. But I happen to have two metric bolts the right size. So I've put it back on with one and going to test drive it to see if it leaks and how bad. Including a run on the freeway. I'm thinking a trip to the shop may be in order. I'm sure they are use to broken dealing with broken bolts. And If I said I haven't been looking at trucks on dealer websites I'd be lying..

When you're 20 years old and broke, yes. When you're not broke, no.

Well it doesn't look to be leaking. But that doesn't mean I'm going to trust it to continue that way. Not sure what I'm going to do at this point about getting it fixed. Either way I'm done messing with today..
I wouldn't trust it. Like I say, the dealer has probably seen it a million times and has a fix (tool) for it.

A prayer for you and your daughter, Fran. I'm glad the weather kept you at your daughter's. This is a tough, tough day for you.
