Third time with the Sonicare was better than the second time which was better than the first time. With just a little more improvement I should get there. That thing sure does clean. A manual brush cannot compete. I use the three minute setting. Goes by quick and I'm starting to feel a little disappointed when the time is up. It does feel good.

Oh, and my comb is 40 years old too. :)

Is that comb made of sabre tooth tiger teeth?

The comb, you’re just kidding right?
Sorry, but no. :)

Bought both of these shortly after I got my first apartment. We’ve been through thick n thin together. :)

Got my Grandpa’s wooden back scratchers too. A half dozen of them. I think they’re made of bamboo. He picked them up somewhere along the way during his WW1 deployment. So they’re 100 years old now. We’d visit G&G when we were little pip squeaks and first thing my brother and I would do is go for his back scratchers. Pizzed him off! Still use them. I have them laying all over the house so I’m always near one. Back itches don’t stand a chance against me. Probably look like a monkey but a happy monkey. :)

You and I are kindred spirits. Recently, I noticed the comb I have in my travel kit when I'm on the road. It was a freebie that was given to me by the hair stylist place, and their name is stamped on it. That where I used to get my hair cut in the mid-1970's. (I moved away from there in 1976, so I know it's at least that old.)

I think my wife would divorce me if I told her that. :D

 Baaahahaha. I think the soap dish tickles me more than the comb. But that's hilarious.

I suspect there is a lot of eye rolling and palms to the forehead going on among the women folk here.

I guess I see no reason to waste 79 cents to replace something that still works. It appears you feel the same way. :)

That’s a two piece soap dish too. Makes it easy to clean. I’d miss my stuff if it were ever to disappear. :(

I’d love to see pix of that. Reminds me of some of those old books Rebecca evaluates.

Goooood evening army,
time for an update:
we've officially moved to Cincy on Monday. Wrapped up our stuff in ole' Germany and just starting to get settled here. We're living in an AirBnB atm and have signed a lease for a 2BR apartment starting March 1.

What a stressful two month this has been. Since that Charlotte trauma we decided to stop going back and forth and just "do it" - and we did. Sold off most of our furniture and stuff, moved some of it to my mom's garage, packed the rest in three suitcases, teminated our lease in Germany, hopped on a plane and here we are :)
I'm gonna start work for that company I already did freelance stuff for since summer a week from Monday.

to our trucking members here: if you ever have a run to a nailgun specialized hardware business in Forest Park, let me know, I'm sitting right next to the warehouse :)

PS: I'm happy with my Oral-B :D
PS2: No combs
PS3: No issues at immigration, guy didn't even check his computer. Maybe it was shut down :D (as was customs, kiosks were offline, could've brought in a ton of gold and nobody would've given a damn - except for the airline, overage weight). Man, haven't been that nervous since probably my first date, could hear my heart beating. Had a ton of paperwork with me to prove everything they possibly could have asked for, but I'm glad I didn't need it

Just as well you didn't bother with the gold Wolta - the airlines would have charged more per pound than its value on the market. Oh and Welcome home, bud!
