filled up my car yesterday and got to wondering about the price Im paying for the fuel... my car requires premium gas and if I fill up the car just after someone used the pump to put regular into their car....
I get a hose full of regular gas into the tank... this is for pumps with one hose but multichoice buttons. Guess Im gonna start using gas pumps that have the individual hose sets for each octane level... o_O

Now what I like to do is drive thirty miles for gasoline that is a nickel cheaper.

The long awaited HHV "Legend" has landed, I am on my way, shortly, to the PO Box to pick up my "old man medicines" and the Legend.

The longer you wait, the better it gets. Trust me.
Dishes washed, kitchen scrubbed last night before bedtime.
Breakfast cooked and groceries bought and home, put away this morning.
This housework mess takes up too much of my old man nap time :p

Well, of course I had to try a few drips right away. Did anyone think that I could resist temptation? I am a failed man. It needs to age as you all have told me, so it is in the back of my vape bucket. I will bring it back in a few weeks, thinking about four.

On my next order, let me know how you enjoy it :)

been calculating my taxes... I would be better off with the 50+- cents per mile deduction than the overall 20% off of gross income... I logged 88K miles for 2018...

looks like I need to find a professional tax person this year.... o_O

20% off of gross wont even cover my fuel costs for the year.... much less tires, oil changes, gen maintainence....

I have used the mileage, we were in different occupations when I did this. I hated to mess with depreciation, recapture and all of that governmental involvement with what I do. I also avoided 401k involvement; I hated all of the rules about when I could use my money, for what, how at had to take out and at what age.

looks like we got a millenneal coming up in 8 more posts....

Will not be posting as I watch the next five posts and hold my breath to see who is charged with doing the appropriate post decor. The pressure on me would just be overwhelming, I saw what you did and the comparison with what I would would be humiliating.

Not a failure! It’s good you tried it. Now you’ll have a point of comparison. It will help you enjoy it even more when it “blooms”. :)

Will you marry me?

Can I be the flower girl!??!!

I have a cold and I’m plumb wore out. Going quiet now until the millennial is captured by someone else. :thumb:

Warm enough to fire up the grill.
Bacon Cheddar Burgers and Beef Hot Dogs. Potato bread buns.
Gotta love unseasonably warm weather while it lasts !

Bacon Cheddar Burgers ; 1 lb. 97% lean ground beef. 1/2 cup (real) bacon bits. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1tbsp. barbecue sauce (I use sweet). 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce. 1 egg. Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder optional.
Best Burgers I've cooked. Been using that recipe for almost a year now.
