Warm enough to fire up the grill.
Bacon Cheddar Burgers and Beef Hot Dogs. Potato bread buns.
Gotta love unseasonably warm weather while it lasts !

Bacon Cheddar Burgers ; 1 lb. 97% lean ground beef. 1/2 cup (real) bacon bits. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1tbsp. barbecue sauce (I use sweet). 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce. 1 egg. salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder optional.
Best Burgers I've cooked. Been using that recipe for almost a year now.

That looks and sounds amazing! Congrats on capturing the millennial too! Looks festive.

Congrats Pop!! And nice looking burglars. Is Mamaw licking her chops or is her appetite whacked out?
Sheesh, now THAT puts a whole new spin as to what's on the grill! I think Mamaw's appetite would definitely be whacked, though Urlacher would probably enjoy them, specially if there's some trousers cloth attached.

LA, I have not seen an onion burger quite like that, but it does look good. My mother used to make a hamburger steak, with no gravy. It was a real simple meal, and I used to make it a lot. I haven't bought meat in a very long time, so I haven't made any recently.

All you do is use lean ground hamburger, mince onion or larger pieces-whichever you prefer, and Worcestershire sauce. You add salt and pepper to taste, or any spices you want. You mix up the meat with the onion, add salt and pepper and make the patties. Then you fry them. If your onion is in larger pieces, it is tricky to turn the hamburger on the other side without it falling apart on you a little, so be careful. (I hand pack the patties pretty solid) While they are cooking, you just pour Worcestershire sauce over the patties. (don't be stingy with that sauce, I use a lot) You can eat the hamburger steak with brown gravy if you prefer, but I like the Worcestershire sauce with no gravy. You can put it on a bun with cheese, or put it on a plate with a baked potato or anything else. Once the hamburger steak is done, I put it on the plate. I usually add more Worcestershire sauce to taste. I didn't make dinky little patties, so they were Texas sized for my preference. There were no set measurements on this deal, so you play around with it, until you have an idea of what you like. Another good thing to do is add bell pepper in there with that meat mixture, for something different. That is almost like a meatloaf though, but it still tastes good. Remember this is fried and not baked.

I have been busy with my mother, doing stuff for her or taking her somewhere. I became sick again, I don't know if it is a virus or severe allergies. So I don't want to get around her more than I have to, since I don't know what I have for sure. I ran a little low grade fever for about a day and a half. I tackled it with some of my home remedies, teas, and different herbs. Tomorrow though I have to take her for an appointment. Thankfully I am better today, I think it was maybe just allergies.

Well that burger sounds good and hearty! I don’t eat much burger anymore either. I used to make a pretty decent meatloaf with soy sauce instead of tomato sauce because I had one kid who refused to eat it with tomato sauce. It’s been a long time since I had that!

I don’t remember allergies causing low grade fevers, but mine do that now too. This cold I have now went a bit past the usual. Last night and today were bad, but I think I turned the corner on it. I’m glad you’re better. We can’t afford to be out of commission! Way too much to do for that.

The kids loved my meatloaf, but I haven't made any of that in ages either. It never lasted long around here, so I would make a double batch. They didn't get it often, so they didn't get burned out on it.

I don't remember getting a low grade fever with allergies either. I looked it up though, and read you can get a low grade fever with it. I think I was trying to get an infection from all of the drainage possibly. I got my Fire Cider stuff out, and that helped get it in control. I also use the saline nasal spray too. I can't afford to be sick right now for sure.

I stayed up, to see how the weather is going to play out. The cold front is hitting our very warm weather and causing some storms. I did see hail and tornado warnings in a couple of spots west of me. They didn't mention THAT on the local weather. I think it will be a while before the worst part of the cold front actually gets here, so I am retiring for the night.
