Yeah I know..

I have even used a bill tracking website where you can search for similar bills. I found a state with a proposal for the same, yet running a search for similar bills came up empty for my state.

I have literally looked in every possible way I can think of to look and can't find anything.

The closest I've found is a proposal in state Senate to raise the legal age to 21.. but that's nothing to do with any kind of restriction on internet sales..

So I'm lost. I'm really about to say I'm either misunderstanding that paragraph, or it's a lie..
The press lie?

I tried but all that I could find was a bill from 2017 so I did not post it. Maybe (I say "maybe" because I go down so many rabbit holes sometimes I can find my way back) I could re-trace my steps if you would like that.
I did note that Virginia seems to have what I would call an intrusive legislature. When I was in law school, just after Gutenberg invented that press thing, I went the library (with actual books). It was my only trip to that place. I measured the inches each state took up on shelves holding the statutes and regulations. I wanted to move to the state occupying the fewest inches of shelf. It was Nebraska but that idea was derailed by a very attractive young woman from Berea, KY. Still here and still think that blonde woman is pretty attractive.

Hey Pap. How is that cow of yours doing?

I've got two of them, and they're spoiled just like my dogs. One of them, Betsy, was a bottle calf whose mother died a couple of days after she was born, so she was raised on a bottle. As a result, she's very gentle - more like a big black dog than a cow. She loves to have her ears and belly scratched while she's eating.

My wife says I give more affection to Betsy than I do to her. But I don't think my wife would want her ears and belly scratched while she's eating. ;)

You should try it and see. :)

How are you ever going to be able to eat those cows?

No that's okay.. 2017 is too old and wouldn't any longer be relevant. Thank you so much for looking though.. :)

Your correct on the legislature here. It's ridiculous at times... but, Virginia is an extension of the capital really.

Everyone works in DC or is somehow associated with either it or government in some way.. Even in my family there are relations whom we can't even know what they do for a living without a security clearance.

The beltway and northern Virginia seems to run Virginia, and they, in largest part, love laws and more laws.

So, I consider this an overly legislated state, but my husband loves his mountains. :) So here is where we die.

Some of the richest counties in the country are circling the District of Corruption.

Okay so VTA just contacted my query on Facebook and said the state referenced should be Vermont and not Virginia and they apologized for any confusion.

That's bothersome though, not proof reading their emails and sending people on wild goosechases.

But, Vermont is true. This is a bill running the gauntlet in Vermont... I bet vermont residents are upset..

I am glad that you followed up on this, I guarantee that later in the day I would have been back searching Virginia laws, wasting time and spinning wheels.

In defense of newsletter creators... you try and try, but still some typos and/or errors can creep in. You stare at the words for so long you stop seeing them. VTA had some recent growth and they’ve been very active. They have to be because the attacks are multiplying. Overall they are an excellent resource.

You can cross-check state legislation questions (while you wait for a response on FB) by going to CASAA. I searched there for Virginia and nothing came up — a good sign that it was an unintentional error. :)

Hello... there is nothing wrong with my heart, just some PvC’s, which are harmless. Of course I was prescribed a med which I will not take. Your typical non-compliant nurse here! Lol. I’m cleared for surgery and had some more blood work done (thyroid dysfunction can be the cause of the PVC’s).

Trying to stay busy and not let my imagination get out of hand :)
