She's cool as a cucumber - no fever at all and she's going home. They see no reason to keep her.

Awesome!

haha. .. this is like a miracle. Seems the new meds are working fine..!
Look at those prayers working!

Got my MRI results and need a few MRI guided biopsies. Waiting for the insurance pre-approval then on to that.

I have been putting out so much positve energy about this, and quite frankly, fully believed that the MRI would show nothing. That it’s all been a mistake. So, I’m a bit disappointed, but I’m keeping my head up and moving along. It didn’t show anything clearly as being invasive so I’ll hold onto that as my new positive thoughts.

Been busy with work, it’s evaluation time, so there has been a lot on my plate. I got thru 12 out of the 15. They are due the 28th.

Hope everyone’s doing well. Overall, I am holding up quite well.

Prayers answered today — and more going up for you. Being busy is good. Helps keep our minds from running away with us. That is frustrating and disheartening. Keep checking in here. We’ll keep on praying. Sending you hugs!

My mom has had breast cancer twice but it was just a small surgery followed by chemo the first time and radiation the second.

She took a few sick days for surgery, but did well enough she worked through most of the chemo and radiation treatments.

The cancer never came back.

I had uterine cancer this last year. Went through finding out, having a hysterectomy and chemo.. but I'm also doing great.

When you catch things like this early, cancer is very treatable in our day age. It's just a stressful pain more than anything..

So, I am keeping you in my prayers, just know it will be okay. that it definitely can be okay, even as difficult as it seems.

Has everyone heard the price on Samsung's newest phone (hits the market late April) / tablet?

I about chocked.. it's reported to be hitting the market for the low low price of 1,980. dollars..

hahaha.

Now, for that bargain, I may give up my fourteen year old flip phone. The camera never was much good but now is broken.

Bridget, try tomato juice, I heard that works for the dogs.

Well guys it's looking good.

The infectious disease doctor (at the new hospital) thinks she knows what is wrong. She thinks it's a genetic periodic fever syndrome.

What they are doing is treating her for it, and if she responds then that's what she has..

We don't know if she will respond to treatment yet, but its hopeful!
I said a prayer for her, and looked that up. I never heard of it either. Here is a link that I did find on it. Periodic Fever Syndrome: Symptoms & Treatments | Cleveland Clinic
Opinionated, I hope they find the cause of the issue. I had an issue with fever that lasted a long time in my 20's. I never found out the cause, and it stopped after a few weeks. I am behind on reading posts, so maybe you have said something else about what is going on.

Opinonated, I didn't realize you saw the same link I did. I quoted your 1st post as soon as I read it, and posted the link too.

Sunny, thanks for the update on your progress. I also said a prayer for you too.

LA, that is a wild picture alright. Snow like that in Las Vegas, it is just hard to imagine. So many things are going on right now, that it is just ridiculous.

I babysat the twins yesterday, and I am still tired from it. They always smile at me when I get there. Thank goodness they don't start balling their eyes out then. The smaller twin wasn't feeling great, but wasn't truly outright sick either. They both sneezed now and then, and had a little cough here and there. I held one of them, and I think it was the larger twin. He sneezed right in my face. I hope it isn't contagious.

Anyway the day went pretty well for us. Not the best day, and not the worst either. Their appetite is picking up. Twin #2 enjoyed the reading session we had. Twin #1 wanted to play instead. I will keep working on it. Yesterday I had a shorter reading session with them. I am not used to dealing with twins though. Maybe I should read to them one at a time, instead of having both on my lap at once.

Nasty weather here, and it is going to get worse. It says showers and rain, and then if you look at the hazardous outlook, they speak of high winds, potential tornado etc... Something tells me we are going to have a very short spring again this year. I am dreading seeing what it will be like this summer. I would prefer March winds bring April SHOWERS, and then you have May flowers. I think those days are over, sadly.

She is doing fine now. They got home this afternoon about 1 (they had her in a hospital out of their state so they stayed in a hotel last night and drove home this morning), and she no longer has a fever at all..

The medicine they gave her fixed her right up, and she will have an ongoing prescription from here on out to give her whenever a fever starts.

So, all is well now. Such a blessing and a miracle that the infectious disease doctor knew all about a non-infectious disease..

I'm ever so thankful for the second hospital - and the first for sending her..
