You're right, he got right up. Especially since his mom was on the shared landing hollering at him to be more careful and go slow! I almost wanted to open my door and tell her he WAS going slow. But she's a little scary. Her son brags to his friends that she's the "scariest mom in the whole complex!" I sure wouldn't mess with her.

It was more upsetting to witness because he's at least a nice young man who speaks respectfully to adults and looks you in the eye. Minimal, baseline human qualities, but very rare these days.

His good and respectful behavior is probably because his mom is scary! lol..

The US government is a great employer. You can be stupid, non-productive, deleterious to the country but you will live well, better than over half the country.

gripe time....

took a few hrs off of work ( and had to cancel 2 runs) to attend the on going never ending code stuff court date...

when involved in this BS you get a paper telling you of your next visit to the system and on it it says " You will get no other notices" ... oookaayy this is firm, no other notices, good, I have a date and a time to be there, make arrangements take off time, modifiy my whole day around this mess...
about 2 weeks ago I get 2 notices in the mail concerning the "infractions" and another court date ( 3-1) to add onto the already existing 2-22 date...
sooo... off I go to the courthouse and get there 10 min early, walk in and get ready for the security check ( all metal out of pocket etc...) Security asks me if I am going to go pay a ticket.. I said no, Im here for court. He tells me there is no court today and to go to room XXX for a reschedule... theres about 20 people in line as I walk up to the room...
Im standing there listening to the general chit chat at the window and it seems that all the people in line had the same court date and had the same mailed notices in their hands...

now here it comes... instead of sending 20+ people to a line to wait ( waste time) he should have asked us if we recieved a second notice and sent us on our way...
if no notice was recieved then go to the room for a new date... would have reduced the line to about 2 people...

the second notice has absolutely nothing on it about the 2-22 date being cancelled and rescheduled for 3-1, they could have at least added something to the notice about it... but nooooo...
they used a canned form and sent them out not even thinking about the "possible" confusion it may cause... ( obviously it did since 18+ people were just as confused as I )

so, as it goes, the clerk at the window had to explain over and over again about the reschedule notice... all the time lost on her part and on the peoples part...

Government at its finest and proud of their efficient ways to handle things.... and the thing is.... these people get paid rather well....

Calling Vapefly Galaxie users:

What are some good ways to get the wick material through the holes from the deck to the bottom of the tank? I waited from January 17 to February 22 to get this dry hit free squonker and it is driving me nutty and I need help (no comments, Bronze).

toothpick. Just twist the end of the wick, feed it through and fluff it out. And I wick to the bottom of the tank on both sides. Coils need juice

Don't forget there are two air flow control set screws located near the coil area. Might want tot back them off one full turn ....

Evening....Beer is cold and pizza is cooking... Got my juice order the other day. Today I got 3 packages from Amazon. Ordered a couple bottles of supplements, (cheaper than the store) 2 paperback books, (cheaper than the book store) and two 4gb sticks of ram for the PC. Which is installed. Going to see how it goes before I decide on the SSD.

LA has your snow melted yet?

I will be glad when this storm moves out of here. The ground is totally saturated again, and pooling up. This morning we had so much rain come down at once that it was shocking. (even for my area) It didn't last too long, but when it was doing this it was some of the hardest rain I have ever witnessed. Outside of my house the water looks like a small river on top of the grass. (on one side) Then I have another big pool right in the front of the house.

The dogs and I have cabin fever, I think. It should clear up later today, somewhat. Tomorrow may be sunny.
