This is the mountainside outside the kitchen window...

A bunny lives back there, she has a den and all and is big and fat. She doesn't like me enough to leave chocolate though.. :(

My cat hasn't connected the kitchen windows to the outside location behind the house, so for the cat this is the television set, complete with birds and bunnies..

She's not bright enough to go back there and kill them, so it's daily cat television entertainment.. lol

Love the "daily cat television entertainment"!

I have a cat, Angel, who loves laying in the window sill and watching birds and critters. She will yip-yap real softly at them...it's cute watching her watching nature. This is the same cat who gets ...... at the German Shepherd and chases the dog into her kennel and will sit and growl at her. I swear I have the only dog who's afraid of a little cat.

Here she is with the other cat Chloe after they were wrestling all over the house, on and off the bed a zillion times, and naturally they get kitty litter all over but oh well just clean it off.
I managed to get this pic with her sticking her tongue out at me...just cracks me up!

Ohhh a Siamese…I always wanted one.

My wife always did the picking out of the cats and come to think of it dogs too. I tried getting my 2 cents in but I knew the the golden rule…happy wife happy life!

Your Siamese putting any animal in their place reminds me of a cat I saw on one of the animal shows.

I think it was down in Florida and this big 'ol alligator came up onto the bank in someones yard and their cat came over in serious ...... off attack mode. It came right up close and totally startled the gator who opened it's mouth and hissed/growled at the cat but that cat was not impressed in the least nor afraid nor deterred. The gator didn't make any real aggressive move towards the cat which surprised the heck out of me cause at first I thought no I can't watch a gator kill and eat a cat. After a short while the gator slinked off back into the water. Cat 1 - Gator 0

Yes, yes please post a pic!

Found the cat vs gator video...seems my memory was off by a couple states...it's in Louisiana not Fla. The second time the gator comes out I thought for sure it was going to eat the cat. Wow and it's from 2010...and here I thought it was more recent...time flies.

Crazy cat. Gators are super fast with those jaws too but truthfully I still don't think they're as fast as a cat. I'm always amazed at how quick cats are. Their reflexes are off the charts.

cats reflexes are fast when they know something is going to get them...

The time between a cat moving and knowing they need to move is practically zero. They have lots of quirky skills and instincts. Is it any wonder why they are survivors?

Ain't that the truth. Not just the reflexes but how they are able to contort their bodies. Just watching a cat nonchalantly putting one of their back legs over and around the back of their head to groom themselves gives me the heebie jeebies. Man I would be in some serious major trouble if I ever tried almost anything cats do.

And their abilities to jump, wow, off the charts. I like those NatGeo shows with cats...house cats to the big ones.

I like watching the cats when a fly gets in the house. Chasing the fly around for a time and then ...whap...one blisteringly quick swat with either the left or right and no more fly. You blink, you missed it.

My latest treat...fresh pineapple. Fully ripened, cored with one of those pineapple corers. Nice and sweet and totally refreshing!

Ouch, nothing like rubbing it in man with the "Nice and sweet and totally refreshing!".

Do you deliver?

You are a turkey for posting that!!! :)

I know what I'm getting at the grocers next trip. Thanks Bronze!

Monday's almost over! Yay!

So now it's a Thing to place cucumbers or zucchinis by your cat so he can see it after he finishes eating? Does no one think of the barf cleanup they might have to deal with?

I'm such a softie for my cats... I treat their meal times and their food area like a sacred space. Let nothing hinder what must be done there. ;)

I have to feed everyone in different rooms with the doors shut or they are all into each others food.

If I forget to close the door where my cat Angel eats she will saunter on over to where the dog is eating her food...stop and sit about a foot away, the dog will completely stop eating and look to me to do something...if I do nothing the cat will start eating the dog food...and the dog does nothing. I pick up the cat to take her back to her food and she growls at me...nervy. Too funny.

They’re ready to eat when the innermost leaves can be pulled out with no resistance.

If there are no pics, no videos... it didn’t happen. ;)

Actually, I am pretty much incapable of being mean to creatures. Even the two-footed variety. Especially not to felines. :)
