Speaking for myself, it’s only every other day and twice on Sunday.

Sorry I didn't say it sooner. I have been with my mother all day. I had to take her to the hospital, and she is going to be there for a couple of days at least. I had a feeling her salt level had dropped again, and sure enough it did. I am also going to have them see if she has gallstones while she is there.

Thank you all for wishing me a happy day. That made it a happy day right there! It was! It was! 2 hour natter with Dad, 2 hour natter with my sister, all day with my sweetie. Life is GOOD! Even when you're 100.

Power stayed on overnight. Flurries this morning. Melting will resume in a couple hours and will freeze up tonight into a solid block. Sunny and a warming trend beginning tomorrow so shouldn't take long to get rid of it. Nice to have a gen. I know people say it all the time but in my case it's true...our power is one of the first to go down. It doesn't take much. The other side of the neighborhood will be OK but not on this end. It's bad enough we don't get much attention living on the edge of Raleigh-Durham civilization in a sparsely populated area. Guess I live on the wrong side of the tracks.
My mother is better today, but I am guessing it will be at least two more days before they let her go home.
Well my night shift counter part caught me at a weak moment and I agreed to come to work at 4am so she could head home. 16 hours later and I’m finally home. That was rough and no amount of coffee made it better.
I try to do one nice thing for each person at work everyday. I think this covers me for the rest of the year
