They're both kind of subjective to the user or specific item, lots of people like the touch sensor, I trash talked it a lot in my head pre launch then found it's fun and easy sometimes.
If we know exactly where the problem lies we can probably help better. Most of the problems discussed at launch were from an early batch with very tight screws that went to preorders from one or very few vendor batches. The other I could see happening from people being excited and using the included screwdriver for more than an emergency (I wouldn't use it for that.) I think if the screws were rounded or stripped before people feel the
threads out it would be a fatality to the screws or
mod one, screws are replaced but not if it's
threads on the female side.
I haven't had any problems with the back panel. Do you have a good screwdriver set? Well really only one screwdriver is needed for this, the set just allows you to have one handy for whatever size the screws are.
Is it removing the screws that are the problem? With mine, reinserting the screws when it was new for the first battery swaps it took some finesse to start them straight but after running them in and out they got easier/smoother and I learned where they liked to be.
Here's what made my life easier
I gave about $9 for the set because I was in a vape buying mood and that's all I could find local but it's been well worth the money.
My tiny Kobalt works really well too and came in a set with several big screwdrivers.
