How it went for me..
( I had little/no success with the Ecigs that look like cigarettes, my personal success was virtually immediate after I switched to the Ego (i use vision clearomizers). Keep in mind that there is a little maintenance, and if you're like me, you won't look at the videos right away; I would suggest you do so! It really is fairly simple to clean them, and if you're informed and know how they basically work you can keep your equip running for the longest time possible.)
At first I found myself still wanting to smoke, especially when I smelled cigarettes. I had an old pack "just in case," and though I puffed on a few in the beginning, as the first two weeks went by I found myself increasingly aversed to cigarettes. I was beginning to hate the smell, and couldn't even take a few puffs. About three weeks later, I realized I much, much preferred what I like to call my "personal mini hooka," and I have no desire to smoke cigs ever again, in fact the smell and consequences (breathing and otherwise) gross me out, and I smoked for 15 years. Now I can taste, smell, and breathe better and better as time goes by, not to mention that cancer already runs rampantly in my family and that the smoke is harmful for pets as well when they are subjected to second hand. *If you feel like you are withdrawing, and really still want cigs don't be afraid to up your nic levels a little bit.*
So to give you a short answer, absolutely. Mentally the first two weeks are the hardest to get used to the change, but if I can do it, I can only imagine how much hope there is for other people too.
