How much do smokes cost where you live?

In a thread nearby we are discussing how much we save by vaping vs. Smoking (as if!). I saw one price of $70 per carton, as well as $5-$6 per pack noted.

My Marlboro Silver 100s were generally $5.50 a pack but a few places around $4.90. I live near St. Louis. Just a year or two ago they slapped another $1 tax on each pack...that's when it really started to hurt! In 1987/88 when I started smoking a pack was $1.25. Sigh.

Anyway...how much are smokes where you live? I am curious.

5.55 for reds in Kansas 4.30 ish if I take ten minutes and drive into Missouri.

$5.75 for a pack of Camel Menthols. When I started ~8 years ago or so a pack of Marlboro Lights was around $3.50, had to switch to menthols when the FSC garbage was added, the taste of those strips was/is horrible.

Aussie here...$15+ for a packet of 25s....a carton of 200 would cost $120...vaping has really saved me..

Wow, in the uk it's About £8 a pack, I think that's about 12 usd for comparison. I was smoking rolling backy before I moved onto vaping.

a pack of name brand run $6 ish sometimes a bit lower sometimes a bit higher...the cheap off brand I was smoking were $3.90 pk $35.50 per carton

8-9 in SF. I was smoking crappy filtered cigars only because they were 2 a pack, probably even worse for you than than cigs.

$7.50-$8 here. I think the savings tickers are probably actually a bit low for some of us old timers cause they're based on what cigs cost when we quit. They were about $5 here when I quit back in 09

Pack of Marlboro Reds ran me 7.25$ a pack when I went out of my way to go to the cheap place...when I grabbed them at a gas station on my way to work I paid 8$ even..

I had sticker shock when I moved to PA from VA. In VA (3 years ago) a pack of Marlboros would run me $2.58 and camels just under 4 dollars. In PA camels were costing me $6.25. They have raised taxes again since I quit smoking camels, so I'm not sure how much they cost now.

Marlboro Light 100's here range 4.90 to 5.50 per pack depending on where they are purchased. I have seen them as much as 6.30 at a well know drugstore here.

6,60$ for the cheapest brand and 8.10$ for brands like camel and marlboro.. 66-81$ a carton... Damn thats alot of liquid!!!! O_O

I smoked cloves. I was paying $5 a pack but you only get 12 to a pack so if you figure the cost out to the 20 cigs in a pack it'd be about $8.35.
But where I work, in a gas station, our cheapest brand is $3.65, marbs and camels run about $5.50.
