I keep hearing a lot about hookahs lately. Is shisha still that popular, or even more popular than when I first heard about/tried it back in 1999? I've rarely heard it mentioned or talked about since then... But every time I see a person new to vaping, they always compare it to, well, blank, and "hookah".
I dunno buddy, I never had to pay for sex. But I agree, I'm getting sick and tired of being asked by folks in public, "can you get high off that thing?" last time it happened was at walmart
It's a bit of a "fad" or trend I guess. There's a lot of misinformation that it's SOOOOO much safer than smoking cigs and such. (Wrong! Although it may be slightly safER, it still doesn't come close to e-cigs.) They even use hot stones and PG blends ala e-cigs as I understand it. Not claiming to be an expert here. But if you do ANY reasonable un-biased research, you'll find a lot of misguided claims and actual scientific data that prove safety claims to be wrong. Still a lot of products of combustion in 99.9999% of the uses. There's hookah bars opening up in many cities.
People make stupid claims like that all the time. "Oh, it's 100% natural!!!....so I'll burn it and inhale it and it's so much safer." Bah. Dumb.

My 2 battery 14500 vv box mods, that last me 2 days, fit in the palm of my hand. However, they are not VW, don't have readouts, etc.
Also, anyone know of the amp limit on the VAMO? I'm too lazy to look.

I think the vamo has an amp limit of 5 but dont quote me on that, I don't have one. I snagged an SVD off the classys from a friend instead so that'll be my first tubestyle VW toy.
ETA: I was very excited about VW when mod makers first talked about coming out with it but I don't think it's turned out to be as great as people thought. If you scan ECF you'll notice a lack of enthusiasm from people who ordered the VW as compared to those who have VV. It's not dramatic but if you read between the lines you can pretty much tell that they're just not as thrilled as the VV people are. With a few exceptions, all of my other mods are VV so maybe I'm biased and if I am I don't want to unfairly mislead you folks.
Stick a carto, atty, RBA, what ever on the mod at what ever ohm, set the voltage to the taste you like and get on with your day. Like a cool vape, turn down the voltage. Like a hot vape, turn it up, like it really hot, turn it way up... 25 watts will blow your head off. You have to make the decision what's more important to you... all I can tell you is don't buy a mod just for the sake of getting one right away, just wait for one that going to meet your wants and needs. And when you have found that mod right for you, and still have money leftover, then knock yourself out and buy more toys like I did. Good news, you don't have to go at it alone. When I opened the box, first impression and thoughts were something like, omg...it's so cute, did they send me a Vamo miniature? (which they don't make that I know of) I'm so glad it is the size that it is, was afraid it would be too big
I will take some pics and get back to you with showing the size of the Vamo
I'm a bass guitar player and have big hands for a lady, so I'll see if I have some money around to help show the size better, something like that anyways.- Status
