I'll bet the chain gang parade is quite festive.

We hardly ever wear chains any more. When there were transportees sent to a penal colony for stealing a loaf of bread (it was a very bad time in Merry Olde England) it was pretty well a life sentence. Theoretically they were free to return to England after their 7 years or whatever were up, but how were they going to buy passage for a six month boat trip home?

Of course there were hard-core criminals too, but the penal system really did sort them out. Those that weren't either killed or went insane became politicians where some of them did particularly well. (jk).

Considering the state of England at the time, most of the released transportees figured they'd got the better end of the deal in any case.

The Fusion pre-punched are flanged, so I imagine the unpunched ones are too. It's the Platinum that doesn't have a flange.

Part of the steeping process appears to be oxidation and the formation of other compounds. Leaving some air space might assist this process. I came to this conclusion because I've seen people complain that larger bottles (100ml,250ml etc) don't steep in the same time frame as small 30 ml bottles. My hypothesis is that the larger ratio of air to liquid in the smaller bottles is the reason for the more rapid steeping.

i sent them to the spa (hot water in a coffee cup on a candle warmer) and the 30 ml bottles were 3/4 full before their spa day (a couple of hours at most) and only half full after...so i figure it was mixed with alcohol to have evaporated that much that quickly and why it is so thin?

That's an awful lot of alcohol for an e-liquid. Usually it's just a small amount, to get some of the flavourings into solution. I presume you were steeping with the caps off? Is it possible there was some water evaporation as well? Did the bottles stay upright? I'm wondering if currents in nearly boiling water tipped them over? Poltergeist with a straw and a nasty nic habit?

spa with caps on...shake...caps off cool to room temp...caps on...spa...shake..cool to room temp...as many cycles as i was motivated to do.
my juice "spa" is a coffee cup with a ziploc baggie folded over (like a trash can liner) with hot tap water in the bottom so no water getting in or falling over or boiling.

(i could prob ask the vendor but he knows i diy and i wouldn't want him to think i was trying to duplicate his stuff..know what i mean?)
