If your evod has that clear plastic top/tip someone in another thread said you can tip it and see if you still have juice in it from there. Might help in the does this thing have juice left in it department.

It does, and it's a good tip, but unfortunately I don't find that much easier in poor light. My ADV is very light in colour, even after a 2 week steep and is very hard to see in the Evod.

The Boge kinda fit. Basically, as long as your drip tip is nice & tight it will be fine. Just don't pick up your mod by the tank.
They are loose as all get out & stick up about .5mm above the top cap. They don't leak, at least the two I'm using don't. Yet.
BUT...
I've never used carto tanks, so maybe they're supposed to be loose?
well that is weird....i can't use the IKV in them because there is something preventing the carto from going through the top cap and seating in the bottom.

LOL i swear i must seem like the vaping freak of this thread with all of the anomalies in my vaping world LOL

Seem like? Don't be so modest... you ARE! LOL! JK!!!
I was looking for something small that would handle the heat I endure at work without leaking. Cartos work fine but don't hold enough juice. The Tatroe Tank is prolly the best I've found so far.
I really need to get a lathe & make my own stuff. LOL!

Get one of these Triple V Tank Tool helps to not damage the O-rings and rocks at filling the tank.

On a fun note, if you ever get bored in the office, just start throwing wadded up paper to the person closest to you. This has been entertaining me all morning.

Fellow Grail Seekers:

Ok. Surprise. I ordered some LIQUA Tiramisu (from FT, of course!) and I just got home and opened the vape mail. HOLY SMOKES, this is the coffee flavor I have been chasing for the past 4 months! YUM, YUMMERS...Totally a good coffee, (sweet) and NOT CLOYING and not %100 VG, which I cannot handle. I LOVE THIS! If you are searching for a GREAT COFFEE, I cannot believe it, but this is it!

I for one am glad you didn't stay away, the OP would have been totally confused by the Itaste poster, you did her a favor with the Twist/Spinner recommendation. While the Itaste deal, especially the one from Fasttech is a great deal, she didn't seem ready for it yet.

I got to admit if I didn't already have more devices than I need, I would consider that Itaste.

Did you notice the Itaste posters join date is listed as Oct of 2009, you would think someone with close to 4 years would have been a little more knowledgeable about the device they were recommending.

Good morning CatChi Ranters!

Rant! Rant! Rawr! RawR!

I thought the iTaste looked cool as well, but how much do you want to bet they don't come with directions? In that scenario, all I could see was the OP opening a box and staring at an iTaste having no idea how to operate it. She would have no choice but to log back into the forum and get a barrage of info from charts to suggestions that she should gotten XXX mod "which is better and only costs a little more, you bought junk."

When I opened my first 1000mAh Twist, once I got over the fact it was larger than my standard 1000mAh (oh, right, extra fiddly bits are inside; duh) I liked that it was just like my eGo only had this extra feature I could figure out by myself or just by reading a couple of threads other people had posted.

Quitting smoking is stressful enough. There's no reason to add frustration into situation with gear you can't figure out or too much info you can't process. Vaping has a learning curve no matter what equipment you use, even if you've been vaping for years, but it's nice to be able to use something right out of the box.

And I did notice his join date  Perhaps he started, stopped and started again or used older style gear for a long time?

I didn't really compare, but you might be right. I used 32 Ga Kanthal on the Evod, they may use 33 or 34. It was an experiment, when the coil goes bad I may try another wrap or 2, the 2.4 ohm is a nice number.

Every time I read posts like this I imagine you guy are crocheting.

You have had your coffee! Wide awake, indeed. Good points, all.

Yes, I've been getting a good 12 hours of sleep lately, which is nice since I'm avoid the mid-day heat (I don't have a/c). The downside, which I figured out years ago, is the only land mass in the time zone in which 6AM to 10PM is aligned with my natural circadian rhythm is Fiji.

No AC? I don't know what to say to that.... other than, I understand why you have altered your schedule.

I didn't really alter anything, expect not take a sleeping pill; 3-3 is my natural sleep/wake cycle. And the heat doesn't bother me, I may look like an ocelot, but inside I am a lizard. I am much happier at 100 degrees than 30.

Doesn't that play hell on your vaping equipment, Your Highness?

The Protanks prefer it. They were awful in the winter, the glass took forever to warm up (I hardly have any heat either). At least I know what to expect when it turns cold again.

Similar.

1) It's a relaxing hobby
2) You get something useful at the end and can brag
3) When it goes horribly wrong it resembles a redback spiders nest

Eerily similar to our Black Widow. Time for some chemical warfare if the are anything like their American look-alikes.

I seem to remember an unfortunate and ill-advised joke I made about this, now that you mention it.

I was about to say that - an upside down Black Widow. My garage is full of them.

Trivia time! Black Widows are extremely territorial. If you know where one is, provided it isn't somewhere you want to be, leave it alone. It will kill any other Black Widows within a several foot radius, so you don't have to worry about finding another one by accident. And their webs a easy to identify. They aren't elaborate and are very sticky.

We have used mud-dauber wasps to control them quite effectively at our river house. The wasps do not sting, even when handled. They destroy Black Widows with quiet efficiency.
