Its like the old eGo T tank system. The sharp edge does puncture the bottom of the tank. This system works well for the first tankful, but then, inevitably...the atty gets hot, the plastic melts just a bit, and the leaks begin. The attys were too expensive, and so were the tanks, and they quickly drove me to the world of T2 clearos. The T2 was like a dream after the ridiculously leaky tank system.

You read my mind Sir Lion. I was making the same connections. I tried several versions of those tanks, and I remember flavor that popped, went flat and leaks all over.

So much promise, maybe this is a second attempt at an improved system. Maybe with some insulation around the stabber or something. I don't know, but it would be cool to see a system like that capable of holding flavor and juice.

True enough, I suppose. The thing is though, those tanks are plastic. I just don't see going back to a plastic vessel now that glass ones are so readily available, you know? Frankly, the toppers these days are as attractive as the mods, so I feel like this would have been a great device 18 months ago, but now, it just seems dated.

Good to see you, sir!

Thank you sir. Good to be back.

You make a good point I am waiting till next month to start in the world of RBAs, now that more have glass options. Love the protanks, but I feel it's time to grow. Tanks like the "T" style ones do feel a bit dated. Not sure I would recommend one of these to a new vaper. Would feel like you were putting them on a dead end train. Plastics are growing quickly to a thing of the past with the expanding world of glass.

Thanx lion.
When they ever going to make a Pyrex tank for the Vivi nova. That's what i want to know

I still rage at the thought of the Vivi Nova. I understand that there were some QC issues when I tried them, so maybe I got a bad couple of them. But they were, without doubt, the worst clearo I have ever tried. I would rather go back to the eGo Tank system than ever suffer another Vivi Nova. That said, the absolute failure of the Vivi is what led me to Kanger and I am very happy with the clearos I have used from Kanger. T-2s, BCC Mega, EVOD, and Protank series. All have served me pretty darned well, respectively.

Hey hey MT. glad to see you still posting too :D.

I had the same experience with the Vivi's enough to make me want to throw the darn things out the window.

Now I was an iPhone fan myself for a while. There is something to the closed environment as far as reliability goes. Have had good experiences with their C/S. However the china made thing is not something that thrills me.

However they do limit things too much and now that the competition had caught up they have lost their edge almost entirely.

On the Provari front of things. Made in the U.S.A. AWESOME. Plus enough people I trust say it;s worth the price to make it the next investment in devices at least. Even if it mens not getting anything more mods till my 1 year. I love the devices I have now so that won;t be a problem.

SmokTech makes a small pyrex tank they call a "Vivi Nova," but I don't recall reading reviews about them. It's a top coil, but uses the pointy heads that don't fit in the Vision.

SmokTech Pyrex 3.5ml ViVi Nova Tank

they have colorful metal tanks for the vivi novas....

Just don't get the "Neptune," if you want it to be safe with juices. It's the one that has a metal sleeve and a window. The tube isn't really metal, the metal part is just decorative and slides over a regular plastic tube.

Like Ocey posted Smoktech, Vision has a tempered glass version, in both 2.0ml and 3.5ml. Glass Vision V-Fate Nova Tank - 3.5ml I have actually had good luck with my Vision SVT Viva Nova, seems people either love them or hate them though.
