Here's reality according to tj, at the moment there are 6 different PV's sitting here on my desk. I can make all 6 of them taste exactly the way I want them to. VV, VW, regulated, or nothing but a battery and a switch, it makes no difference.
Well, whatever floats your boat. You're a grown man who is capable of making their own decisions, regardless of what people say. So, if you want to go analog, your life.
Also, TJ, I think that is pprobably the most badass PV I have seen. Don't know why, but I feel it needs hot glue to hole the wire to the battery and duck tape to hold the atty to your finger.
I actually agree with you. In fact in this thread I have been advocating people being clear that something is "In their opinion" rather than making a blanket statement that something is the best. Because for everyone things are not the same.
An example: I don't think there is anything wrong with me saying "I don't like the ego tank system" or "I really love the Kanger Pro tank". In both cases I am expressing my opinion without claiming it is the only solution. Mearly that I personally like or dislike something.
As for flavors that is WAY to variable from one person to the next to ever go beyond "I like x".![]()

Stepping up the assault from standard "fanboy"
To the next level with "hardcore fanboy"
The next step? Perhaps "Triple-Dog Fanboy". While this could constitute a slight breach of etiquette by bypassing the "Double-Dog Fanboy", I cannot rule it out at this point based on the thread up to this point.
Here ya go, problem solved.![]()

Hilarious.Exactly. When people come asking advice my first question is what is your budget followed by how much do you smoke. Things like battery life, maintenance, and mechanical aptitude also come into play. If there was a single pv that was perfect it would cost 1 dollar, out out clouds of vapor, adjust throat hit based on readings it takes from your body, and has a self recharging battery that can never fail.
I think I will buy my 16 year old niece a PORSCHE so she can learn to drive.
oh no! it is starting already! LMAO
next it will be "omg the trustfire is sooooo much better than the AW! why are you using scotch tape..it should be electrical...or hello kitty duct tape! what is wrong with you?!"
a couple of things....not necessarily connected and quite possibly very random...
- not everyone is "chasing the vape"...some ppl just don't want to smoke. (p.s. that isn't me...i want it ALL...toys and being a NON smoker!)
- semi-newbies are in a lot of cases the BEST ppl to help new-newbies...they *remember* the tips/tricks/mistakes that they made as they are fresh. (and there are very few ppl that aren't newbies about *something*, i think it is pretty much impossible to have tried and done it all...and evenso...still subjective)
- i personally don't like things that are "plug n play" and never to be fiddled with again...it doesn't teach you anything and you don't *know* if you could improve the experience.
Look at all of the cigalike users that say "oh that doesn't work..didn't work for me" (i have had that said to me in real life multiple times)
that doesn't mean i don't *want* higher end things...but it will make the appreciation that much greater. kind of like "rags to riches"?
- why do ppl take their PV setups so *personally*..it ain't your thinger even if it starts with a P....grow a P(air)
- everyone on the forums/into vaping is *supposed* to be at least viewed as an adult by the law....still seeking validation and conformity? you can't vape or be my friend unless you use what i use! (i'm getting a TJ mod next! sent a PM!)
no wrap up...definitely random LOL
will you buy me a provari?![]()
- i personally don't like things that are "plug n play"
The mail man picked up the package with your Provari in it about half an hour ago. I sent it priority mail. It is currently set on 4v. I sent one fully charged battery with it to get you started. You will need to find a proper charger for the battery.
I will check in once in awhile to make sure it gets to you OK.
I hope you are not going to be disappointed in it. In my opinion it is not that far from "plug n play" press the button several time and you find PU or PD, adjust to your liking. I find it simpler than a twist since I had trouble reading the dial. There are a couple of other features but on the "plug n play" aspect of it I don't think it is any harder than a twist. It is just pressing a button rather than turning a dial.
John ... don't act like a spoiled child! Being of a different generation than most on here,
think I'll just go vape my $17 VV box mod just to spite all you guys
wow is all I can say, your karma account must be overflowing!
thank you, thank you, thank you!
oh I like PnP once I understand hiw it works not PnP
like knowing how to drive a manual transmission lol
you ain't kidding about the Twist...99% if the time I pull out a flashlight and granny readers to adjust..the rest of the time I just twist and hope LOL
the Chinese must eat a lot more carrots than I do!
Please tell me you're not looking for a Bobo...
ETA: Never mind. I'm sorry. Bobos look like great devices.
I want something that I can climb use while on rope climbing a mountain, flying down a steep 8 mile curvey downhill on a bicycle as part of a 200 mile ride and I need to keep both hands on the bars, something that I can use when running 10 miles across a pasture, something that I can use while chopping wood.
OP: It is often wise to keep your mouth shut when you don't have a clue as to what you are are talking about.
