or,We have no idea of what we are talking about.
Prescription-Drug Use Just Hit a Crazy New Peak
Time and time again I hear the lament from non/vapers,smokers and vapers themselves its
their right to breath air not containing vapor from us less cultured and rude vapers in
public. We don't know whats in it. There are no long term studies. I will choose what I
breath because its my right. Vapers should not vape where one can't smoke its disrespectful.
Well I have some bad news for you. Six out of ten adults are now taking prescription
medications. There are many who take five or more a day. Lets add to this all the non-
prescription medications taken orally or used topically. Remember this the next time
you are in a indoor public venue. Microscopic amounts of thousands of different drugs
floating and mixing in the air creating a drug cocktail of lord knows what. Do we know
the long term effects of this exposure? No. Do we know the chemical make up of this
potpourri of the wonders of modern chemistry? No. Is it the reason mortality rates are not
falling even though the percentage of the population that smokes has dropped 66.66666%?
well we just don't know,do we?. Then we must consider the biological contaminants.
I will leave these up to your imagination.
so now we have something like vapor. Do we know whats in it? Yes. Do we know the long term effects? Well no,long term study's will never be done because the science says second hand vapor is harmless, why bother.
Do we get all bent out of shape from the prospect of people vaping in public venues? Yes of course.
Its our god given right as real American's to demand other peoples behavior conform to our
irrational desires. If they won't conform, government will and must step in and correct this
errant behavior. After all its the people that vape in public that are the problem,Right?

I think it's OK to be considerate to others.

Aren't both extremes of this "issue" made up of people who want their way all the friggin time? I thrive in the middle. Avoiding obvious annoyances to other people. And not caring about the opinion of the perpetually annoyed.

Honestly I think people should be more concerned about drinking the tap water..........

Add most bottled water to that

I believe in common courtesy. I also believe courtesy is a two way street. If your going to
marginalize another group into second hand citizen status again I would wish the decision
is made based on scientific evidence and rational thinking.
Its interesting to note when I bring up the subject of stealth vaping people have
the same reaction about that too.I am being disrespectful and harmful yet, they
don't go around accusing strangers of giving then their latest cold.
Go figure.

People have a fundamental right to privacy;
meaning the right to be left alone.

If somebody wants to shoot a constant steam of water up in the air on their own property, and the water is comming down constantly on the properties of the neighbours, the neighbours may have a problem with that. It's only water, but if you are spraying it on somebody else, then you may be interfering with somebody else's rights.

No-P. Others and I have been saying vaping is about as dangerous
as drinking municipal tap water if at all. Because quite frankly its
true. Most tap water is perfectly safe to drink. Taken as a whole
there are potential risks. The problem is removing those potential
risks doe not guarantee any gain in over all health at the population
level as the the risks are so minute and may not be a risk at all.
This of course excludes known cases of contamination from industrial
or environmental sources.

If HR 2058 doesn't pass I'm not to sure there's going to be much juice to test, the tap water however has brought deathly sicknesses to alot more people than the amount that claimed to be diagnosed with OB, they have put out alerts for the people in my county to stop drinking the tap water.
So let me get this straight, what your saying is we should be able to vape anywhere ?

I agree. Oakdales Mn well water was contaminated. Still safe for cleaning and the lawn.
They get free bottled water for consumption. As I have said if you don't count water supplies
that have been contaminated from external sources Tap water is safe enough to drink
these days. It still has the potential of harm about the same as vaping. Someone would
have to deliberately adulterate e- juice to make it as dangerous as the contamination
from the coal plant. The culprit here was 3M. Yes that 3M.
