the one that I drilled every single hole and added 2 extra holes to the sleeve (across to each other and identical to the 2 it came with) came out to be too airy. so I put on the unmodded sleeve on it and it was much better after. I'd say that modifying the sleeve with 2 added holes is good enough. I'm vaping on it now and its quite pleasant! :)

Start this video at about 1:30 to see him put the sleeve and inner top on. By not screwing the inner sleeve/top all the way down, a little room can be left at the top of the sleeve for air flow control.

Since the outer sleeve is still screwed all the way down it should still act as a drip shield as long as the unit is upright. Also, the air should be pre warmed a little as it travels down next to the inner sleeve. Review of The Immortalizer from Chiefvapers Pat - YouTube

I thought mine had shipped but as it turns out it's waiting on restock. Rats.

I rebuilt my real immo to compare to the immoclone and with both at their stock configuration, the real immo wins hands down. Can't really describe it but I just enjoy it a lot more. Might be the tolerances? Dunno really, but the immoclone is "almost" there. I'm getting the feeling that the outer sleeve on the is just a smidge thicker than the real one which makes the draw slightly tighter.

I finally got my FT Imortalizer today, started out bad, hey I didn't know the sleeve screwed to the base with left hand threads.
I checked some reviews and got it apart and of coarse the next to the bottom o-ring was missing, I had one.
Replaced the wick and coil only to find the negative screw that threads into the base was stripped, shoved a little piece of ribbon wire into the hole in the base with the screw and now that's OK.
Then the little screw that holds the ribbon into the positive post was stripped, I replaced the screw and now that's OK.
Enlarged the air holes on the sleeve a little and now it vapes real good. But what a POS the way it came all stripped like that.
This is the first rebuildable that came coiled with a decent coil and wick but I changed it anyway.

After getting to know this thing a little I now have it working super. There is no well for any reserve juice so extra wick length is required unless you want to drip every second drag. I replaced both screws that hold the ribbon with Phillips head screws with a slightly larger head, now if I want to use round wire I'll coil it the other direction and mount it upside down trapping the wire under the screw heads.
Also added two more holes to the drip shield (3/64") air flow is good now just a fuzz on the tight side yet but acceptable.

anyone find out the exact side of the missing o-ring?i have a real immo and am looking at picking up one of these clones as well for a 2nd one. stupid they missed an o-ring on these things... can't belive thay haven't fixed that yet and people are still getting ones with -1 o-ring.
I bought one of the early Tobeco Oddy clones and it came with a spare parts bag which has a couple of silicne o-rings that are just the right size. This is not the first time that those parts were used to fix another atty.

@ dwcraig1: That's the second report I've read about stripped screws. Let's hope the FT puts some pressure on their supplier to up their quality control a little. I'm really hoping I can get mine airy enough when I get it. My 804s are airy as all get out and that's what I've got used too and what I prefer now.
This has turned from an initial disappointment into my favorite dripper.
You would have to really over fill it or turn it upside down to get it to leak. If they would just ship without wick and coil the problem might be solved with the stripped screws, everyone just removes it anyway.

Hum, I got a rainbow heaven oddy clone. Not sure if that will have the same size one or not. Can't seem to find thin o-rings anywhere.
