Dspin, I love the fact that the battery is going to be user replaceable and an 18650 too.

I have a question though, I am thinking that one will not have to take the battery out to charge it, am I correct?
One would only have to plug the unit in via the usb port then connect that either to a usb port or a wall wart usb/ac plug, correct? This would be cool....like a cell phone or an ipod....no playing with the battery until, well...it doesn't hold a charge anymore.

It seems that could be so. However, I will be removing the battery whenever I'm not around - sleeping, mowing grass etc. Its something I do now w/all the pvs I own, big or small

Trapped by Schrödinger's cat....
THe charge circuitry is all there, just charge and go. I don't understand wanting to always take out and change the battery, but if you are so inclined, you may.

The ECLIPSEeq will allow YOU the user to program it to automatically feed your liquid with one touch.

What does this mean?

It means that it no longer matters what mix percentage you use for your PG/VG.
You can now adjust the time of the FEED based on your own personal choice of viscosity.
It means that YOU are in complete control of how many drops are administered each time you press the FEED button.
It means that you can set the autofeed for the liquids that YOU use.

No rough guesstimates.
No wondering "Was that 2 drops or 3?"
No wishing the set value was different.

It is exactly what YOU set it for!
It is the most personally customizable PV yet!

How will it work?

You will enter "Programming Mode".
Next you will touch the FEED button to deliver as many drops as you like.
THen you lock in the value.

Now, each touch will run the programmed FEED sequence that you chose for yourself.

Can I go back to "Manual" FEED?

Absolutely! You can at any time go back to manual feed with a couple simple touches.

You will also be able to RECALL your LAST PROGRAMMED SETTING with just a different touch sequence.

Is this for me?

Of course!
This is the next level in PV personalization and convenience!
Instructions will be simple and easy to follow for all.
Experienced and chain vapers is who this was tailored for,
however, it will be just as easily utilized by a new ECLIPSEeq user.

I'm mixed on that-
With cell phones and PV's I kind of use them the same way when it comes to charging.
I like to keep at least 3 batteries, one in the charger, one fully charged and ready to go and one in the device.
I never worry about not having a charged battery and I can usually get through a weekend without a charger.

Jury is out on fully cycling and rotating Li-Ion batterys- I've seen conflicting info, but I'm sure over discharging is a bad thing...

That said, being able to charge/use the device at the same time is a great feature - especially if you ever get stuck in traffic and your battery runs down. I'm certainly not going to complain about it ;-)
