Well, thanks for the comment but when I overlook something that simple...

In my defense, bottom feeders are new to me as I've been a Mini Nova user until now. The eVic is new to me also. I knew the Mini Nova/Twist combination inside and out. The EVOD/eVic is a new learning curve for me. I'm sure glad you folks are here to help out!
 That's what makes this GotVapes sub-forum so great, Everyone Helps ! Your question will also help some one else too I'm sure of it. :D Glad you came here to join us. Sides, the simplest things are the most easy to overlook. I do it all the time and then these guys have to rescue me too :lol::lol::lol:

Just had to troubleshoot my buddys EVOD, It was leaking from the bottom badly. Turns out when he would unscrew it to refill, his atty head would unscrew slightly due to friction between the head and the downtube. After a few refills, it was enough to leak. Havent had this happen on any other EVODs, but apparently its possible.
So when refilling, check your head! :)

Been vaping on my 3 new Evods today, and they all are performing perfectly. Trying them as arrived, with the two extra flavor wicks in them.
So far so great! No leaks, lots of flavor and vapor and throat hit. The draw is nice, looser than a vivi nova but not too much. Slight juice crackling (actually more like gentle sizzling. Its kind of soothing...) when vaping but no gurgling. It's not as silent as the vapeonly BCC, but it doesn't whistle. Surprised at how good the vaping is from a narrower style tank!
Refilling is pretty painless, but you have to be careful not to get juice in the downtube if you're filling straight from the bottle. A needle tip or syringe makes this much easier. So far I'm really happy with the performance for the price!
It looks great too!!

That's one thing I like about these. For me it requires no fiddling, just fill and vape.

Like the eVod was MADE for my fiancés purple Vision Spinner. I mean the color and texture are IDENTICAL! Whatta kit!

Nice! I've got the same set-up! It's funny-the first time I ordered an EVOD, I ordered the stainless because on my computer, I didn't think the purple looked like it would match my purple spinner. Once I found out how much I liked the EVODS, I ordered a purple and a black one on my next order. You're right the purple is an exact match for a purple spinner!

Norman, Ok
help, ive tried everything - read everything, but im so fed up with the lack of vapor and the constant leaking
ive wasted so much juice :(

Where did you get your Evod from? ...

Some info would help also... what PV or Mod are you using? What ohm head are you using? What voltage/wattage are you set at? What e-liquid and PG/VG ratio are you using?

If you want some suggestions you haven't tried... you should also list what you have tried because saying "tried everything" doesn't say anything of value since we are not psychic here.

I'll start with some blind suggestions... Did you tighten the head in the Evod itself, several have mentioned it came loose when opening and could explain the leaking.

Sorry should have been clearer - its been a while
I use the VV Ego - 1000 mah -
I bought 2 of them as I was sick and tired of the smokteck fiber filled cartomizers
I tightened the head on the evod and I use both 1.8 and 2.5 - use 70/30 juice ( been using it for over 2 years now )
both leak like crazy
both produce little if any vapor ( am getting light headed lol )
Ive gone back to dripping and I now wonder why the heck i stopped - its amazing
However, its a hassle, especially when driving

I'm interested in what you find wrong here too. I have been using a half dozen evods for a very long time, from when they first came out and I have not once ever had any leaks or gurgles on any of them...NO problems whats so ever. I don't understand what everyones trouble is

I'ts probably me - and I could use some pointers as my eyes are rolling behind my head with all ive read so far.
LOTS has changed - I had a home made mod for almost 2 years - used cartomizers and was happy as a lark.
my mod finally broke - cant believe that there is no one in my area that can do a little soldering - sheesh
The ego is ok, but man oh man, charging every 4 hours is for the birds!
I thought I would try the "new way" and tried out the TANK - same thing - burnt taste, little vapor, leaking
I primed before use so that is not the issue, I used connectors to see if it was threading issue - all to no avail.
I am not a patient person. Want to charge and go all day without having to worry about battery dying, dripping in car, etc etc
sigh.............

Try removing one of the flavor wicks and see how that does...

I got mine from GotVapes ( you didn't say where you got yours ) and have had no issue... and being from GV I know it is a real one from Kanger and not a fake as have been seen from some other vendors...

I vape my e-juice ( 80/20 PG/VG all the way to 5/95 ) anywhere from 6 watts ( ~3.87v on a 2.5 ohm head ) to 8 watts ( ~4.47v on a 2.5 head ) and have no problem getting plumes of vapor ( and great flavor ).

I get better flavor in the Evod than any standard dripping atty I've tried... But my IGO-L RBA dripping atty does have better flavor than anything else ( including the Evod ).... As for any fiber filled carto... it isn't tough to beat those in the flavor dept. IMO
