Just got my 18500 wh, build quality is very good. Setup is a kick2 in 13 watt with flat top efest 1850 and aspire bvc 1.6. Used 1 big rubber ring and 1 washer for medium throw. Only problem is the kick is ridiculous hard to take out since they sit below the threads. I am planning to resolder those ground pin and tilt them up slightly for easier removal. vape quality is very good.

Just slide a small piece of paper between the Kick and the tube where the ground pins are. It'll slide right over the threads like butter!

Thank me later.

Waiting on my 14500 simplicity. Now I need to get the 18500 Workhorse! How can this new mod be 70 dollars? Can there be any money made off of this? I guess now people that buy clones can't say they can't afford an authentic device because of cost. This device looks sweet. This will be my next purchase.

And other mod makers cant claim it the costs of making a mod are soooo high they are barely selling over costs ;)

Made in USA?
Lifetime warranty?
$70?

Inconceivable!

Seriously, tube mods aren't really my thing, but if I needed one, I'd be all over this.

Kudos to Super-T.

Precious Metal Palladium Plated Contacts too :)

Thanks Rossum, people will be pleased and see the quality equals or even surpasses their 200 dollar mods!

Please keep 'em in stock. I don't personally want one 'cause I've turned into a dedicated bottom-feeder, but I'd like rub it into those who keep buying mods made of pure chinesium -- their excuse is always that they can't afford $200 for an authentic product made in the first world. As long as you have 'em in stock, that excuse is GONE!

LOL... And, its not $200, so...

As soon as I can I'm gonna get one. Not that I am into Mechs that much, but more to support what Super-T is doing. These are the people that will still be around, and I want to be still around, 5 years from now after all the other 'me toos' have left..

Yes they can. The WorkHorse is inexpensive for various reasons. David will gladly sell you something for $250, even $500...with the same relative value.

I'm sorry... But arent the ones David would sell me at that price better in quality than most others at that price? From what I see and hear, this one for $70 is already better than others at 2x the price ;) Not to mention lifetime warranty...

Have to excuse me and Rossum.. We've been in some 'interesting' threads lately :)

i made a small 3 wrap coil out of 1mm copper wire just a bit bigger than the switch post and put it in-between the magnets, works great.

using an 0.6 build with a fully charged VTC5, using a cheap in-line voltmeter
with the magnets only, the voltmeter fired at 4.19,with the 0.6 build it fired at 3.74

with the magnets and the small copper spring it fired at 4.19, with the 0.6 build it fired at 3.86
i tested this several times and the readings were consistent.
no hot button or battery, smooth as silk and it made the throw a bit more firm.....if i run into any issues i will report back.

Got my wh18650 on Wed along with another mod from elsewhere, and I like them both. But after swapping the spring for a stiffer one, my workhorse has been the mod I've been reaching for every day. It's super clean, super simple, and it just works really well. I know everyone talks about "buttery smooth threads," but these are better than that. They are silky smooth. It's a constant struggle for me to tell myself that something is only a good deal if you need it, and not to buy stuff just to buy it. But damn if I don't want to buy another one of these just because! lol

Be very careful. Next thing you know they could be calling you Curator of the Super-T Museum.
I agree. It just works really well. David is a master of brilliant simplicity.
