That thud you just heard was the Dollar a Day group passing out en mass.
Nice collection.
Nice collection.

Not to speak for anyone else, but the negative remarks might be coming from the fact that some people earn their "place" in the community through a long time of listening, learning, then spending more time helping and explaining with new/unique information or insights. Others simply buy their place in the community and then speak from a place of authority, which is bound to upset some people.
Owning a bunch of equipment and having numbers and email addresses of vape companies on your phone doesn't make you an expert. I'd question with hundreds of mods and hundreds of drippers in such a small period of time there is absolutely no way you've been able to give them the dedicated time it requires to totally learn it's ins and outs. You've been building coils for a short time period yet speak as an expert on the matter.
I'm not attacking you here at all, just explaining what seems to be the source of people's negative comments. People have been doing this stuff for years around here and have delved far, far deeper into this stuff than your OP does. While your goal may have been to simply help people, it probably didn't come off that way, as the posts have been around 20% repeated/common sub-ohm info and the other 80% a list of products you own.
Wow let me be the first to say, WOW. Kind of at a loss for words.
Someone should make a meme for, "SPILLS E-JUICE ALL OVER INTERIOR OF FERRARI. THINKS, 'OH NO MY JUICE!'"
ETA: Okay, regained consciousness.
Wow man, you're a really kind-hearted individual. It's good to know that someone with a nice bankroll is actually out there helping out people who need it.
Beyond that, if I ever make it down south I gotta come check out your collection. It sounds totally insane.
My every-day vape is a Hexohm-style box mod (I love the 2x 18650 battery life, it's perfect for a full day of vaping). It was custom-made from a Hammond box, and it has a very personal place in my heart. It was $250, but worth every penny. In buying it I was supporting a friend and a fellow vaper, a really nice dude. If I had the money, I'd shell it out for a Variant. Have you looked into getting that?.. do you already have one..
You make a very good point. However, to everyone who reads this. I do not consider myself and expert with mods, rda's and coils. It was not my intention to either covey or imply any expertise on these subjects. I have talked about how many mods I have purchased to show others that I am not a person who just went out and bought myself a mod some where and use it occasionally. I brought up some of the safe practices that I use and encouraged others to basically add to the list - that was the main intention of this thread, no matter how far it has strayed from there.
You are right that I have not had enough time to really thoroughly evaluate the mods, rda's and tanks I have bought. However, my first job that I held from the age of 14 until I graduated college, was working in my fathers machine shop. I also spent over 28 years as a director of engineering for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, where part of my vast responsibilities was to oversee engineering and equipment maintenance of 73 plants. That said, I can look at the way a mechanical device has been manufactured and know more about it in a very short period of time, than the average person can.
In addition, I have met and learned from several people who have been vaping for quite some time. I am highly intelligent and learn very quickly. Over the past couple of weeks, I have walked in to several vape shops and shown people my coil builds who have all remarked that my coil builds look like they were done by somebody who had been doing them for years. I learned from one of the best in the world and some of the exotic builds I have done, such as zipper coils, I learned from first watching it done on Youtube and then practicing over and over and over again until I could imitate what I seen on a video.
All that said, I apologize to anyone if I came off as a braggart or know it all. I respect other peoples opinions and do not think that I know anywhere near as much about vaping as I hope to learn. I like sharing pictures of my mods with others but if it offends people, I will keep them and conversation about the same to myself.
Y toke on my Hexohm and an MVC Overdose the majority of the time.
I'm nowhere near in the same expendable cash bracket as you, but I wanted to offer a high five for the MCV Overdose. I treated myself to one last month (it's the only authentic mechanical mod I own) and even though I'm still paying off my credit card to make it "mine", I'm very pleased that that I bought it. it gets a lot of love.
I have been vaping now for about four months and I own over 200 authentic mechanical mods and about 250 authentic drippers. About two weeks ago, I started building my own coils.
Story up. You dont own 200 authentic mods and 200 authentic attys in my opinion. If you show me a picture well then
is there a picture of these 200 mods and 250 drippers somewhere in this thread?
Even if you see pictures, how will you know they are authentic![]()
See posts #34, #46, #94. I may have missed a few others that speak to Tyger's story.

Had he not said he has a wife, I might have believed it.
Years ago PS referred to the vendor Puresmoker (no longer in existence). The only other PS I can recall seeing is "post script". Maybe someone else can address this.Thank you Susan~S. On another subject, I have heard the acronym 'PS' used on this forum on several occasions. What does it mean?
