If you are talking about the performance of the iclear clearomizers that come with the kit, then yes, clearomizers are somewhat of a jump from your standard atty/cart head combo. the iclears with the kit are top coil, meaning to get best performance you might have to tip them upside down every once in a while to ensure juice stays on the coil. Personally I'd invest in a bottom coil design like the Kanger Evod. There are others out there, I just know from personal use the Kanger EVOD and protank show good performance.

you should know, before buying an EVOD, that the vape is cooler (which some people like) and many people find the taste to be much more muted than the Iclear30,,,,,,

I've been looking at these since we had a vape meet in Minneapolis a few weeks ago so I jumped on the 101Vape.com deal this morning. Are any of you using a wall adapter to charge? If so, what are you using, I would assume that something in the 500-1000 mah range would suffice. I thought I saw someone mention using their iPad adpter (don't make me go back through all 37 pages :) ).

huh,,,,,never thought of that,,,I already have a wall adapter,,,,,I believe it's 5 volts, but maybe I need something bigger? I'll have to check into that,,,,,,,

I have the iTaste VV-3 and have been using my cell phone charger which plugs into the wall and it works fine. It takes roughly 2 to 2 1/2 hours to charge my iTaste. I don't think you can use a eGo wall charger which has the usb connector on it.

I purchased a secondary tank Kanger Protank 2 (blue of course to match the blue mvp lol, but am giving the Iclear a fair chance before switching to the other tank.

It comes with the adapter cord that has the three pronged adapter (one of which is a mini USB) to USB connector and you can use any USB source including a 5V wall wart. I use my cell phone charger all the time. I only have to have one charger/cord and I can charge them both. I have also charged it via a car lighter with a USB adapter.

Edit: Don't forget, you will be able to charge up other things as well! Probably not all that usefull, but it makes for great conversation.

Proud owner of the MVP v2. I love this thing. So far "my" best settings and hardware are the Protank 2's both the mini and standard firing at 7.5 watts is flawless. I dislike the iclear 30. gets too hot on the tip and is inconsistent for me and the draw seems too tight. Battery life is Impressive. I got 1000 draws out of the box's charge before seeing the yellow indicator.

One gripe I have is the IGO-W won't make a connection or the coil wrap is too low of a ohm for it to read on the ohm checker. I don't expect the IGO-W to sub ohm vape but it would be nice to test my coil builds for level of ohm's.

Also, Has anyone been successful at using an RBA at say 1.5 ohm's and up??? I would love to have a device that allowed me to use clearo's and RBA's. That would be amazing to have only one device that does it all.

Thanks in advance.

I also have problems with RBA's making connection. It seems the pin on the MVP gets pressed down fairly easily by clearo's being over tightened.

I have pulled the pin up on the MVP a couple times, but would not suggest doing it. I would hate to break it. You can go the route of an ego to 510, or 510 to 510 adapter to give an RBA a bit more connection length. It looke goofy, but works. I am waiting on an airflow controller in the mail, hoping it will serve that same purpose and look better.

As for actually running an RBA, I have 2 set up at 1.6ohm (micro coil style) and use them at 11W all day. It's no crazy mechanical fog machine, but it's pretty damn good as far as I'm concerned.

I've had my v1 for a week now and love it, I can get 2-3 days while it's in rotation with my Vamo. I'm in a co-op for a v2 and it can't come fast enough. I love the iclear 16, but am debating on getting a protank II. Man, these iclears are amazing, but they sure do suck the juice down quick.

B

I've got the iClear 16's, an iClear30, a Protank 2, and Protank 2 mini. I'm rocking the PT2 mini on the MVP and it's by far my favorite combo. I can tell it's going to become my go-to AVP. I'd previously been using a Reo Grand (got the REO Mini but find I burn through the 14430's too fast) but got tired of wasting juice in cartos that have died, and spending so much on drip style attys (not ventured into rebuildables yet tho). I got a SID as my first VW mod and loved it but got tired of carrying around a massive phallic looking device.

Regarding my preference for the PT2 mini - I've noticed that the coils and wicks in both the iClear cartos will get gunked up pretty quickly, and then turn my juice brown and crappy tasting, thus wasting the remaining juice in the tank. I've not had that problem with my Protanks.

All in all the MVP is great, but when paired with the PT2 mini, it's a dream.

What is Micro coil? Sorry I'm fairly new to this.. I have 32 gauge and 28 gauge wire and too types of wicking thickness. Can a make a micro coil?

I have a 510 to ego adapter and it still won't read on the ohm checker. My IGO-W is currently wrapped at around .70 ohm's. I know it won't fire at that low of an ohm but I can't seem to make a connection with the 510 to ego adapter. Had the same problem with my itaste VV 3.0. I think my IGO-W's pin is too short. However on my mech mod (Magneto) it works as expected.

Good eye, it is an igo-w. I use that, and a trident mostly.

Thanks again. I have tested the 510 to ego adapter on my magneto mod and the IGO fires, also tested it with the Mini pro tank2 on the MVP v2 and it also fires. So I'm thinking the MVP won't read the IGO-W at sub ohm's (1.5 ohm's and lower???) I may try and build a micro coil at a higher ohm rating and see if it works. Fingers crossed. I only build single coils on the IGO-W so far. I'm more into the flavor than the vapor production.

Sorry for the long drawl out responses. haha

I know it will read at least down to 0.8 , I made one that low on accident when I first got 30 gauge wire.
