Maybe to much cotton or wick?:2c:

After several configuration changes the conclusion is, user error. The PMMA top caps have a drip tip adapter that I wasn't screwing in all the way because of lousy threads. Seems that o ring seal is pretty important...

Even though I have been a member since March 2013, I did not quit stinkies or vape full time until the end of January 2014. I am still learning and helping as many people as I can to get off the analogs. Gave a women my MVP to try at lunch after she asked a bunch of questions. Put a clean DT on it and I think I converted her. She looked so surprised at the clouds the kayfun produced for her. Gave her the 101vapes site and told her what to order and told her I would show her how to rebuild if she gets into it.

Helping is soooo much fun and satisfying :D

At this point I'm just hoping I can get my MVP back from the neighbor lady I loaned it to. Some people. Ya try to help 'em out and this is the thanks ya get!

like "Meatloaf" sang - "2 out of three, ain't bad..."

1) big protank II
2) i16b (matching set, of course)
3) RBC by Smoketech (bcc)

as you look thru the purple tank, you observe the chimney post
of the bcc (which x-fits with kanger coils)

RBC is my new fav clearo - it rocks !

:)

Exactly right except the protank is a clone I got for $16 locally. She got 7 of the RBC's for like $8 and gave 3 of them away already.
The Mrs likes to switch juice often and has a few tanks filled all the time. With the mvp and the beauty ring she can run anything she wants and it still matches. She's really liking her new toy!

The past few days I've been using my iclear 30 tank that came with the mvp....gotta say I'm pretty impressed. This thing has been hitting like a champ. I usually use carto tanks or bdc tanks. Never thought to use the tank that came with it mainly because it was plastic and i had a bunch of other tanks. Since I've been out of other cartos and coils i've been using it. Definitely nice back up tank.

Yeah I've always primed them with multiple drops then let them sit for 5-10 minutes. Not the 30 but I've never had problems before until recently.

I prime mine too but wasn't sure if it was doing any good or if I was wasting my time doing that too. BTW I've also done all of this and still gotten a bad coil that burnt the minute it fired.

I used to love my iClears and shied away from any bottom coils because I didn't lie the way they tasted. It was a love hate relationshio with the iClears though because every time I turned around I had another leak. When my guy at the B&M talked me into trying an aspire BDC I was overjoyed that I finally found something that tasted good that rarely leaked. Now I have like 10 iClear16 shelss and 2 30s just sitting in the drawer.

On a totally different subject I'm sitting here learning to wrap a coil on my new igo-w. The guy in the B&M taught me yesterday, but it is still harder than it looked. I just wrapped the most beautiful perfect coil and then BROKE THE DAMN STEM OFF IN THE POST. AHHHHHHHHHHH! I even pushed it back on and measured it and it was the closest to my ohm target than any I have attempted tonight!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH

Alright, ordered my KFL+ V2 yesterday, along with a roll of Kanthal from TEMco and some silica wick. Also ordered a replacement MVP beauty ring and jade drip tip from HealthCabin; figured that would be a good way to test ordering from China without spending more than a few bucks (and replace my MVP ring in the process.)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Kayfun! I'm going to try my hand at rebuilding some Kanger heads as well, so I thought 30AWG Kanthal would probably be a good "general purpose" wire for both. The silica I ordered comes with 25ft of Kanthal as well, so I picked 28 gauge for that just to experiment with in the Kayfun.

Kayfun, Kanthal and wick should be here on Tuesday. Health Cabin order is on the slow boat from China so...a month?

That was quite neighborly of you sir! I would hope you have a back up MVP as well. I have loaned out my VV V3 and Ego-C to people over a weekend to try them out. It took me until a Wednesday to get it back a couple times, but it made an impression and one of them has quit stinkies since.

Cheers to all those vapers out there that try to convert the smokers...We can do it
