tell ya what

was surprised at NO LEAKS

I kept messing around and finally overwhelmed it with vacuum
and got it to drip/run out of the air intake hole...

guess I wasn't happy until I made it happen so to know its limits

and juice being used was CLEAR, so I didn't even know it till it was to late

but very easy to clear back up and not another leak what-so-ever... :D

Thanks - that's really helpful. I love my Igo-L but if I even SLIGHTLY over-fill I get a wet shirt - it tips out of the air hole.

Thanks again. :)

Does it allow your T2's to breath? I think I will give it a try if it does.

Just raise the pin and slip it over and underneath the pin, correct?

If you don't screw it all the way down tight it does , just stop it when you feel resistance and your good to go. With the T2's i drill one of the air holes a little larger as it's a tight draw regardless .

To customize my draw i also slip about a inch long strip of heat shrink tubing over the outside of the tank , heat it till it's snug and then depending on what kind of draw i want, i move it either up to unblock the holes in the base or slide it down to block the air holes for a tighter draw .

You can slip it off but i leave it on.

so I finally buckled to peer pressure :D , ordered a kayfun 1½ weeks ago, to use on my MVP...

like most, comes with clear and steel tank middles, and a bag of o-rings, & tools
a bottom fill & has 510 tip (no adapter needed)
but the biggest selling point of this one for me was:
•Adjustable airflow system (on the side)
•Adjustable 510 connection

so I gave it a going over and it took me an hour to get it apart
pliers would have made it a 15 second job (slick)
the MVP beauty ring is to tall for my like, so I use an old protank kind
MUCH more room to adj/thread UP to take the load off the tank/thread area...

now apart, I wash it and build a 1.8Ω coil w/ 32ga -1¼” cotton yarn
some teflon tape around the small fill screw (not a simple task)…

back together, hit button & vape – well now that’s it, it just vapes
no drama, no mess, just pumps out vapor clouds…
after the break-in-funny-taste leaves, it performs just as advertised
feel I didn’t clean it well enuff so, a 3min soak in wht vinegar resolved that
felt I should play with the air-hole adj, but no need really, ¼ turn from closed
works just great…
so time to play with it, and I find out it HAS NO adjustable center pin (as advertised)
some other CONS pertaining to it:
 • no parts (srews, insulators, wire/wick,)
 • no deep fill hole with o-ring
 • drip tip cavity is to small
 • bottom fill screw does not sit flush

I find it creates “dense” thick vapor clouds, the flavor is about the same
as my custom bcc and dripper attys (was expecting much more to be honest)
the machine work is flawless, threads are precise and ya almost
can’t see the seams between sections, juice channels are perfect…
so far no troubles, not a single drop leaked anywhere, anytime, no gurgles – it just works
$30 bucks for this chunk of metal huh…

- Kayfun Lite Plus Clone
- $26.70 Russian 91% Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Sando, Dano ( confusing) or you gave me a link to a FT Kayfun light that has an o ring fill screw and airflow control and it works great , no leaks , deep juice channels and threading is good .

I went nuts reading all the comments and reviews and decided to go with the model that most were saying had the best quality out of all the Kayfun clones on FT's site , some seem to definitely be better than others , that one cost me a hair over $16.00

Like you the flavor was very good but did not blow me away but i'm happy with it. I considered the 'Rocket model' you suggested but it didn't get very good feedback.

The one other thing i never use is a beauty ring on any topper , seems they are more trouble than their worth to me , once a toppers snug it's solid and never moves , no thread problems.

I have a 16B and the head's are completely different , if you find a way to rebuild one successfully i would be interested but it's a small solid one piece unit.

what I kinda figured

-not sure if they share same threads
-distance from bottom o ring to bottom of air tube

guessin it's why he asked, wants to use kanger coils in his i16b

I'm happy and sticking with my kanger bcc's (etched in stone)

Just picked this up today. Had been back and forth between several different vv/vw mods. Decided to start with the MVP 2. Won't be my last though. [emoji16]

Here are some pics of the two head's, the Pro Tank head does fit the screw threads of the Iclear but it's considerably too long and the post diameter doesn't fit the body of the 16B.

Sixteen B head fitting is on the far left with the short standard head next to it , bottom pic is Pro Tank head on a Iclear head adapter.

yepper, what I figured

all those threads are the same
-you can remove a/the coil and say screw a 510 carto in there
-you can, say, remove an evod base, and screw an evod tank onto the eGo threads

just a standard set of threading industry uses to keep costs & confusion down

the rest of the fit, by eyeball looks to me just as you have so eloquently demonstrated

there ya go Drip Cat , ya got your ears on

herb figured it out for ya...

Wow herb, you have come so far so fast! I remember when you first started here not that long ago, and what you have learned and share, I just wanted to say awesome and thank you. You have become a very valuable member of this group. Not to take away from anyone else, just a person that I have seen grow so much. NOT that I am any knowledgeable person, I just love hearing and learning from others who are growing too.

KUDOS!! :toast: Vape long and prosper!

boy I don't think so

I don't have an i16b, but they look way different

all I could say is try it, threads, height dimension...

:)

I noticed it does thread on and appear to fit but I had not tried it out.
I got the 16b with the MVP and have not used it since the coil that came with it went funky.
Thanks all.

Any links to larger beauty rings? Just got a 510 to 510 adaptor and its sorta oogily.. (but saves me from the stripped threads on my mvp)

Via spontaneous binary code

eGo Sleeve Cones

eGo Cut Cones

which both can be used in combination with this

this airflow adapter is not really for airflow, it saves your 510 threads by giving you a new 510 base and also keeps juice from going into your 510 post/connection..hence no juice leaking into your device thru the post

My adapter on its way after stripping my 510 on the MVP with the help of a few Epic dives to the floor with the hefty KFL =(

Stopped st a great B&M near me tonite and tried 6 different 5 Pawns flavors. Good, but I don't get the high price. The Apple Pie I got for $7 is better IMHO.
I LOVE dripping the Deserts.... Yummy ;)
