They can gunk up pretty quick, herb. Usually just cleaning it out works well but after a while the only real fix is to boil the base where the air holes are. On the other hand you can try drilling out one of the air holes and see if it's better for you. But that would likely change how it delivers flavor.

Also, on a side note, it took me quite a while to get used to the dang swivel tip. But now... really don't like straight tips much. :)

FWIW, my first upgrade from the ego was the SVD that came with the i30. I used it quite a while before I started to experiment with other tanks. I think that time used gave me a lot of insight into how it works and how to work it! And I think that's why I've never found another that really delivers flavor like it does.

So thats what causes it , i was baffled . I did drill out the air holes on one base and surprisingly it made no difference.

Thanks for that info , time to clean.

I bought some VG from Walmart and i'm not exactly sure if it's the right stuff to mix with , it says 99.5 VG (Anhydrous) and it says it preserves leaves and flowers and is good for a skin soak (unfortunately thats not what i wanted to use it for) do i need to use 100% VG or is this stuff OK.

I put a drop on my tongue and it's pretty sweet

Thanks folks

Well, I vape like a steam engine and I usually get at least a week out of a tank before I need to clean it. (Coil usually goes at least 10 days) I have my SVD, an MVP and a Tesla in my "normal" rotation and I usually fill each one at least twice a day.

I have some questions. Inevitably reading around I find guys mentioning mods that have 15 watts, 20 watts, etc (and of course higher corresponding voltage ranges). Heres what I dont understand: how would such extra watts be useful? For example, the MVP 2 goes to 11, but I leave mine around 8. If I bumped it up to 11, it would surely burn the juice. What good would 15 do?

Of course, I imagine the voltage and wattage range of the MVP might be limiting if running a dual coil configuration where the voltage may not be sufficient to heat the coils to vape the liquid (since voltage is the desire of electricity to move, if the coil resistance is too high, then a lower amperage will take place, hence lower wattage). In 2 coil configurations, are the coils wired in series or parallel? In other words, is the resulting ohm load of the coils (say 2 coils each rated 1.5 watts) 3 watts as seen by the MVP? And if its wired where the result is still 1.5 watts, what is the purpose of extra output capacity?

Inline with this question- what tanks/coil-setups are off-limits for the MVP 2 in terms of its output capacity? What ohm load do you think works best with an MVP 2? The coils on my Protank 2 read 2.5-2.7 ohms, though I got some spare coils that are 2.2 ohms (I think).

The Protank 2 and MVP 2 with a 2.7 ohm coil set to 8 watts vapes great for me, so these are really just academic questions so I know how to proceed when trying different tank/coil setups.

Good things come in 3's
3 is my favorite number ;)

I'll probably end up with 3 in the end (basic black & maybe the grey).

I have 4 cheapo no name ego style ones that I love and want to extend
their life because I'll never buy them again. Just want to run 2 & have
other two as swap outs during charging.

Question about my shine - I was reading directions- they say pushing
both the p & u at same time runs through 4 readings:
1 resistance
2 battery voltage
3 puff count
4 last set voltage or wattage

mine is only showing #s 1&2. ??
What is happening?

I checked the readings for p & for u and they each work properly.

Today my mvp turned yellow this morning, then after a few hours it just turned red. So it is time to charge it correct? I hooked up the itazte charger to my eGo wall plug end, and in just ten minutes it is already
showing green. That can't be right? Do I need a different end, or should I just hook it up to my computer for now?
Maybe I have the wrong thing in the wrong input?
I put the small end of the charger into the small opening that says input, is that right?
Sorry for so many questions.

I asked about plugs a while back - I use the end piece from one of my
iphones.

Dang , two fill ups on all three every day , you really do vape like a steam engine "wowza" lol.

Yes Herb that's the stuff. I've bought the same at CVS and a local drug store.

Thanks Paul

Same size and manufacturer but the label is a little different.

I asked about plugs a while back - I use the end piece from one of my

I got very inconsistent results using a wall charger also , i know my computer charges them correctly.

Hey all finally got my MVP2 yesterday and loving it. It is doing everything it is supposed to. I didn't have any trouble dialing it in to get my juice flavor. What I am having trouble with is the Iclear 30 that came with it. I have set the wattage everywhere and can't get the flavor like I can out of my Kanger T3S. I even tried it on my vision twist 1100mah batteries. I am getting plenty of vapor just no flavor like I said been high been low been watts been volts. Already went through 3 tanks of juice for you info I DIY my own juice and build my own T3S coils. Maybe I am not used to the stainless drip tip please help.
