You might have to adjust the pin on the Igo-L. Also try it with and without the beauty ring.

i stopped using the beauty ring on mine ... but yeah, a lot of atty's you have to adjust the pin some for it to make contact.

While on my MVP, I gave my igoL a quick tap with a phillipshead and hammer on the center pin with the screw undone just a hair. It pushed the pin to the desired distance needed.

You can do it on an old ego or edge of a counter if this sounds like a bad idea for your newly prized battery.

Since then, I no longer pull the post on my MVP or V3, and have been loving it.

Pat, this won't be very helpful, but the black grain looks so nice. I got lucky in that they just got them in when I went to buy mine at the local B&M.

I have a possible issue with MVP 2.0 and I hope you all chime in - I receive the unit om the 28th of Oct. Not being a heavy vaper I have been vaping it for a week ( 1.5 tanks) and I have not seen any yellow light to date. Today at 4pm while I was at the office I checked the battery voltage. It reported 4.0 V with a green light. Literally five vapes later the battery just died. No yellow or red indications. I have put in the charger and the light is solid green but do you think I have a bum unit ? Sure would be nice to have a little warning so I do not tax the battery with an extremely low battery.

I wouldn't worry about it yet. Run the battery through a few more charging cycles and it should perform better.

Most rechargeable batteries need to cycle a few times to condition themselves. The green light will go out when charged.

Just bought my first V2 today from 101 Vape. Got one for my daughter too as her older vv passed away and she is having fits. Got a couple of questions. How long does a recharge take if it's down to the yellow? And, can you use cartos on this...my daughter hasn't discovered Clearomizer yet, but I got her a Protank 2 and a mini 2 two so she'll get a lesson. Can't wait to get this thing, everybody here seems to love theirs!

the deader it is, the longer to charge...

from yellow, probably a good 4 hrs... (it will come 80% charged)

There IS a "beauty ring" that comes with the MVP v2....but it's a matte finish- not chrome - and isn't tapered at the top; ie., the "top" fits flush to the bottom of a PT2, et al...but even this helps to hide the eGo threads and give the unit a more "finished" look......
