Some sweet looking wraps here!

I am sure that I could sit down and measure it out and fart around for a few hours and make a template but I was wondering if there is a template or even measurements for a skin on line some where that I could print out. I can think of a bunch of stuff to make wraps out of. Contact paper for lining draws springs to mind quickly but one could use the imagination. Maybe a bumper sticker or as mentioned before auto related stuff.

Edit: The other thing about a wrap is I think it would make it easier to find the fire button on my V1. Any opinions?

When I figure out a hard fact or a tip, I like to add a key word title... makes it easier on a Google search.

Anyway... small tip. The #6 Torx bit is the correct size if you want to blow your MVP or MVP2 apart. It doesn't fit all that snug in these particular screws (which look more like super course thread wood screws than machine screws), so use lots of downward pressure and a slow - "get a feel for what's goin' on" - kinda turning pressure.

That is all. :)

I'm not sure I like the skin, its not exactly a "perfect cut", so I had to decide whether to have the skin off center on the mod, or going over the edges of the display. It did come up pretty easy when I made some mistakes though and wanted a "do over".

The ohm meter is much more accurate on this than it is on my multimeter. I threw my protank 2 on with my (what I thought was a) 2ohm microcoil, the thing was actually closer to 1.4ohm. Needless to say I popped the coil on the 2nd fire, even after adjusting the wattage to something within "acceptable" limits based off the chart posted earlier.

In response to earlier, yes, I'm all set for the boring trip around the lake. I'm taking my "vape box" with me so ill be good on heads, tanks, and anything else I might need. I'm happy as hell its here :) I let my roommate use my Silver Bullet for the weekend, but it looks like he said he's probably gonna order the MVP too after he saw this. He's been using a cheap 510 kit he bought at a smoke shop.

One more thing, its a lot heavier than I expected it to be, lol

hey all....so of course, just a few weeks into this and i'm looking for a new shiny toy. i'm a kanger girl right now, and i don't think i'm ready for fancy mods that are beyond my scope. or budget. but this MVP....seems simple enough, with lots of great qualities and very affordable! will i stop there? who knows. i've looked at reos and provari, etc. but i don't want to spend a fortune, i really dig my bottom coils, and if i'm going to get obsessed with anything i'd prefer to go nuts about juices. maybe i'm preaching to the choir, but i think i'm on the right track here for any sort of upgrade. i work outside mostly, and my evod batteries and tanks are cheap enough that i'll always use them at work, but this will be nice at home and to show off to my smoker friends that think i've gone off the deep end....till they try it

hi nap317, i love my new mvp2 and im glad i purchased it, but i must say that you need to have fairly strong hands to fire the button. i new beforhand from utube videos what i was in for. i have had it for about a day and a half and the button seems to be getting easier to press. just so you are aware of it, everything else is 5stars in my opinion. i hope you enjoy it as much as we all do. take care and let us know your thoughts when you get it. keep on vaping all.

Hi nap welcome
yepper they are a great conversion device; stand it up on a coffee table watching TV with a big protank on it...
or stick a shorty carto on it and stealth around the car or store, woods, work site etc and not worry about
it catching on something or getting in the way...
fits in hand great, passthru, features, cheap, & and I think it turns into an airplane... :2cool: (Bond music playing in background)

You sound like me :) I started with an eCAB, then my evod, and now I have three MVPs! (I do plan on giving one of these away!)
Every upgrade teaches me something new and I'm enjoying the ride!!

Now I'm working on building a nice little wood "ashtray" to set my MVP in next to my comfy chair in the living room. Mine wobbles a bit and I'd hate to knock it over.

I've had my MVP v1 for a few months now and I absolutely love it, the firebutton fell off a few weeks ago, but I have a sticker holding it in place and it's working just fine. :) I just pulled the trigger on the MVP v2 and I'm really looking forward to having an MVP with vw and an ohm meter! The flush-mount button never bothered me on the v1 until it popped off, but I do think the raised button on the v2 will be an improvement. Can't wait to get this thing!

okay, let me ask you this. i'm just starting to look into mods and such, and don't want anything too complicated yet i like the box mod look. also don't want to break the bank. hence, the keen interest in the MVP.

1. where's a good place to get one? any favorite vendors? i keep seeing this fasttech pop up, but i don't necessarily trust places where the price is that much lower.

2. will i need an adapter or beauty ring or what to make a mini protank fit? is it 510 threaded?

thanks guys, i'm still learning!

1. Flee Bay has some pretty good prices and FT is cheap but if I were new and were to order today and want it delivered this month, I would order from Mt. Baker, use their coupon code for 5% off with free shipping, a free bottle of juice and fast delivery $55.00.

B. 510 and ego threaded

Seriously, if it's your first mod and you like the box format, just buy it.

They typically run from $50 to $60 shipped... at a decent deal. The closer you get to $50, the better. I just got a e-mail from Vapor Joes...

WHERE:

FULL KIT WITH iCLEAR30: Madvapes - Electronic Cigarettes, E Cigarettes, E-Cigs
FULL KIT WITH iCLEAR16: Madvapes - Electronic Cigarettes, E Cigarettes, E-Cigs

THE DEAL:
USE COUPON CODE oct10off TO BRING THE TOTAL DOWN TO $52.15

The previously mentioned MBV deal is good too... and MBV is a great vendor.

I'm sure there's a better deal out there, but at what point is saving 3-5 bucks more important than just getting one ordered and to your door?

If I'm not mistaken, use "vaporfrombaker" at checkout, you get 10% off. You get to pick a bottle and you get a free bottle. Give your nic strength in the comments. I ordered Ecto Cooler and they threw in Soft Cinnamon.

That's what I did, ordered it on a Thursday and received it on a Monday or Tuesday.
