This isn't really MVP related, but does anyone have a problem with their tank (I'm using a pt2) flooding in their car while driving?
For some reason it seems like any time I drive somewhere further than 20 minutes away, my tank will flood making it nearly impossible to use it :( I can sit at home all day, rest the device on its side, standing up, hell, even upside down if I could figure out how and it won't flood at all... get in the car and start driving, it floods, grrr.

I bet it is your "vaping" style

probably (due to driving) your not allowing atomizer to heat fully
taking qwik, sharp, faster draws, where as at home, it is slow long casual style vaping...

while driving: try taking ½ as many puffs (long/slow)

but it's just a guess...

On an MVP related note, what are you folks using to carry these around? I am so used to having an ego on a lanyard around my neck. I have no idea what is the best way to cart this sweet device around. I have seen one leather case and it looks more like an MVP suitcase.

you could try to gerry rig some some of "beauty ring lanyard" or something (I'm brainstorming, so I will get back to you). I just use my pocket (empty not trying to scratch it up) or ill use the "5th pocket" in my jeans and do not bend down or anything. I saw the holster and it just doesn't look right (to me). I might feel more comfortable with a plastic holster with one of those swivel clips phones have vs the leather and the snap belt loop. OF course with side compartment for the tank, with like a rubber cap to prevent leaking from the bottom.

Also, Am I the only one who places it somewhere and forget about it and when you go looking for it you have a mini panic attack that it's fallen down somewhere and is leaking, or am I just super crazy/protective of the mvp? lol

Does anyone know if the switch is on, but nothings plugged on does it drain the battery drain quicker or stay the same?

Got my new aspire bdc "vivi nova" version today.....got all excited and loaded it up with my favorite juice, screwed into on to my mvp 2, hit the fire button and NOTHING:(
Aspire bdc dead on arrival:( and it leaked all over

bummer !

did you try it on another battery device (ego etc.)

MVP threaded end is a little suspect about fit sometimes...

ALWAYS good to have one or more of these hanging around (just in case)

Just got mine. Wow what a difference.
C2CVaping got this out fast. I ordered it Friday afternoon and have it on Monday. Very impressed.

My v2 arrived today and I'll just immediately say as a first-time Innokin user, the packaging for this is really attractive. I almost made out with it but then remembered I'm married. But if I was single...

I got my Kanger Protank 2 mini and let me just say it vapes like a dream on my new MVP v2. I have had some ripe banana that I need a glass tank to vape just sitting there and I may have to make up a batch with zero nic because I just can't put it down.

Just installed my carbon fiber wrap that came today (ordered 10pm this past Friday night). Simply beautiful. Nice handwritten note from vaporbeast.com.

After a long time with eGo's, that turned in Volt cig-a-likes, I have finally got my MVP v2 on a slow boat from the other side of the world (4 weeks exactly) :glare:. I know, I know, shipping from over there usually takes 3 weeks delivery (here to Canada anyways), but looking through all the MVP threads got me ansy...now vapping like a bo$$:vapor: WhoOoo HoOoo!!!

Congratulations. I have only had mine for a few hours now but I am feeling it was a very good decision. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am.

congratulations to all new MVP owners,
and all the new parts to make them more comfortable to live with...

what a 'HIT' the little magic-box is and only avg of around $50 bucks...

is this what we're talking about ?
- Aspire BDC Vivi Nova-S Pyrex Glass Bottom Dual Coil Tank

and it leaks , huh -- from the tank threads, or thru the coil ?

did you wash it good before using ? notice if any o-rings looked missing ?

I never mess'd with one so not much help... it's tight of course

but like I suspected, it's the MVP attachment threading,
(not the Aspire) not firing on MVP... (bet the 510/ego adp works)

all I can say for now is good luck...

that's a pretty god idea! but I think I'd have to put some kind of strap over the top just as an added security feature. because I think after a bit the elastic on the sides would get over stretched as the galaxy is way thicker than an mvp.

guess you mean -wider-
as far as thick the MVP fits into that sandwich case perfect
it is very snug, not much chance of falling out
the soft lining and the soft pleather outer shell kinda
cradles it...

now will this cheapo device wear out (elastic) maybe, then like you said
a strap over the top might be in order...

this also holds it (if needed) but it leaves the clearo sticking out kinda dangerously

Note on generic/clone Kanger Evod tanks w/ Ego threading:

These tanks are sold on FT in a 10 pack for $21 (sorry, no link, i'm at work).Anyways, not one would fire on the MVP2, but they would fire on the X6, Ego batteries, and my wife's VV 3.

After close examination of the internal Ego thread on the tank there is a 1 to 1.5mm thread gap on the bottom. Consequently the pin not seat correctly for firing. The solution was to sand down the bottom of the unit approximately 1.5mm.

Just a heads up in case anyone buys these clone tanks. They do work well with just a little work.

I hear the protank 2 only likes travelling in a prius at no more than 12mph..:p

It's a strange one, only thing that came to mind is maybe during your travels, vibration through the vehicle and constant movement of the liquid somehow makes it leak rather than it being static at home.
Someone smarter than me will maybe have a better idea.

Hey are from somewhere warm? Is your car hot or warm when you get inside? Possibly sitting in the sun? I only ask because the temperature could be causing the leak

Yeah I typed it but had mvp vs mvp and corrected the wrong typo..oops! Good catch.
Yeah I would think either something Velcro/snap strap or possibly something fixed to the front but threaded through the little loop on the back. But would all boil down to personal preference and the effort willing to put into making it secure.

With the second one I totally agree with you. Also for those not totally comfortable with having their tanks be horizontal for long periods of time (like myself).

Just ordered my V2! Hopefully will get here sometime this week! My question is what clearomizer do you like it paired with the most? the clear 30 that comes with it or something else? also what fruit type e juice paired with that certain clearo? thanks!
I like the evod for taste but the Protank for big hits and unitank for big hits and top filling

We use a variety of tanks...T4, Evod, Dbox, and I-16's. They all work well with the MVPv2. Generally it's a matter of personal choice. However, be careful when using plastic tanks with certain citrus, fruit, and cinnamon flavors. They have been known the crack the plastic.

Easier solution is to use a pair of needlenose or a small screwdriver and pull the pin out a little. No modifications required.

Not really because you can adjust the voltage/wattage as needed. I found that coils are quite inconsistent when tested. When I ordered a 10-pack of the 2.0 ohm Evod coils, I got readings anywhere from 1.6 - 2.3 ohms.

When adjusting your MVPv2, skip the voltage adjustments and use the wattage. In general, thicker or darker liquids need more watts as opposed to thinner/clear liquids.
