Has anyone taken an MVP2 apart and taken pictures?

Also has anyone sanded down whatever stock finish that came on their unit, to the point of having a bare metal finish?

I popped the bottom off but stopped there. Here is a video of a fellow taking one apart completely:

Been using an IGO-L with a 2.0 ohm single coil and cotton wick.....I drilled out the air hole VERY SLIGHTLY (to 3/32")...
NICE dripping!!!:D Boba's Bounty really shines when it's vaped in an RDA!!
Obviously....you CAN NOT do sub-ohm coils on an MVP!! But I enjoy the taste - and the CLOUDS - I get with my setup!!
Happy (vaping ) Trails!
you haven't had any center post problems with the igo L. I've heard that people with both the igo L and W have had problems.

Ok I hope this doesn't sound stupid - maybe I should be punted back to the new members section.

But what is the difference or relation between the voltage reading of the battery vs the voltage setting you change in VV mode? If the battery only has 3.8 left then would that be the highest I could set the vv mode.

If based on the wattage I set and the current atomizer resistance would the battery only be able to out put a wattage that is the same or lower than the voltage left?

hold both buttons: 1st is Ω, / then 2nd is 3.8v , the charge state of the MVP

then

the internal circuitry of the device has a step−up converter that increases output
for VV or VW selection, that will work until the MVP's charge reaches -?? 3.2v/3.1v ??

I am not an electrician, this is just what I have read and my understanding

pretty basic explanation, but best I got...

cool. thanks guys. i placed an order for for the igo L, some 32 kanthal, some silica wick, and some juice last night. I'm thinking about getting some cotton for wicking. do you guys yse cotton or silica on your igo's?

I use 3mm silica. A word of caution on cotton....never, never, never, never, never, never dry fire cotton!

I've checked with all my immediate neighbors. None of them have it. I even checked with people I don't know who have addresses that could have been mistaken for my own. For example, I checked the people that live at 310 on the off chance that the postal carrier mistook 370 for 310. No luck.

I have considered posting a picture of one at all the mail boxes in my neighborhood (we have community mailboxes) like people do when they are missing a pet, but if someone has it, it's not like they are going to see the "Missing" poster and cough it up.

To anyone who has been keeping up, I awoke this morning to a brand new MVP2 (review later, maybe). I'm not sure if it was the one ordered from 101 as my wife was not very coherent at 5:30 this morning, but I got one nonetheless. Either way, Kudos to 101Vape for their excellent support and being willing to work with us. I don't know how far they would have gone to make it right, but it's probably better this way for both of us.

Thanks for all the well wishers.

:bday:
