It seems to be somewhat of a consensus that with the MVP 2 (as with any device) there are a few quirks and foibles.
(1)Firing pin is too short causing issues with making a connection (and corresponding tight draw/low vapor production).
(2)Generally tight draw (low airflow) on some delivery systems in general.
(3)Variable Voltage seems to be favored over Variable Wattage (for me also).
(4)Button a bit stiffer that desired.
Anything else I'm missing here?
My personal fix for the firing pin/tight draw issues have been solved by using a 510-to-ego adapter. Both issues have gone away by always using an adapter.
I'm just curious if anyone else has answers to these (or other problems/fixes) that haven't been thought of/brought up already.![]()
I didn't own a v1, but compared to my EVOD battery the button press takes notably more force (I think PBusardo rated it at about 2 lbs of force). I do have to say as far as VV and VW are concerned, VV is the more accurate option (for me its not a deal breaker, almost all my attys are about 2.2 - 2.5 so setting wattage won't make too big a difference anyways, I assume for those that roll their own coils this will make much more of a problem). The draw seems tight on ego threaded devices, but this could be due to the location of airholes and the lack of space between ego threads (510 devices cause no problems for me)
