I just ordered mine today, I'm pretty stoked on it! How do iclear30s compare to protank? Just wondering cause I don't have a spare tank to use on it so the 30 will have to do for when I get it.

Also, 40 bucks from a US vendor if you guys know anyone wanting one

*squeezes past loads of people to find seat* a few days and this place has exploded its population!.

I find the iclear 30 was ok, when I got it I hadn't used a protank to compare it to, since PT2 though I struggle with having to return to the i30.

My advice, use a protank asap! :)

Wanted to throw in my :2c: regarding my tank/coil cleaning.

1- Drain liquids
2- Disassemble tank
3- Rinse everything in hot-as-you-can-stand-it-but-not-burn-your-.... water
4- Soak coils in alcohol (isopropyl, grain, or vodka) for 24 hours. Air dry.
5- Dry fire coil in small 3-5 second bursts until a greyish soot forms and the chunkies are gone
6- Blow or brush out soot from coil
7- Reassemble tanks
8- Add favorite liquid
9- Vape it like you stole it!

I use to alcohol soak but I've found that soaking seemed to loosen the wicks up some and they tended to unravel more and they came no cleaner than just rinsing and firing. Must rinse after dry firing. Didn't do it once. Yuck.

I have had my MVP2 for a week now and am really liking it with Smoktech dual coil cartomizers.

My question is about the wraps: can they be removed without too much hassle? If the wrap is removed, is there a sticky mess left on the MVP?
My apologies, but I don't know if this has been previously addressed, because I haven't had time to read all the messages.

Thanks in advance! I wish we had a separate forum within ECF.

You have some great craft beer out there in WA. I cant remember what it was but I went out there to visit a old service buddy of mine last summer and it was about the best IPA I have ever tasted!!!! Sadly cant buy it here on the east coast and I cant remember the name anymore.

:toast:
Yes we do, we also have some really good local wine too. My favorite local beer is called Irish Death, its made in Ellensburg, WA. It is SO good. So it hasn't really been that big of a deal. Except when we have people over and they want mixed drinks. Every once in while I have (especially in summer) a hankering for a mojito.

Thanks for the input. I've come to the conclusion that unless I mix a flavored liquid with mint I really can't crank up the heat. I probably need to get new attys as well, I've run the ones I have through their paces.

Could it be that MVP uses pulse modulation with varying the duty cycle in order to get the assigned voltage? That would mean if the device is set for 6 volts, it actually bounces back and forth between two voltages to give you the voltage you have dialed in. Some other box mods, including the VV gripper, use this technique. I own the gripper and MVP2. It is possible that pulse modulation could decrease carto life.

Any comments about this?
Thanks.

Well, I finally got a MVP2 'walkie tankie' looking setup. I'm quite happy with the look since I didn't have to buy anything extra LOL

Can't help you with the Aspire but I want to send you some moral support to get through the day stinky free. Hit the corner store and get a disposable if you have to. Any thing but the cancer sticks.

Stay strong!

I thought a group dedicated to the Innokin iTaste MVP v2's (and v1's) would be a nifty idea. We can share tips, tricks, experiences, and photos.

My MPV arrived today. It's only been a few hours but WOW...this is a whole different vaping experience for me. The vapor...the flavor! Being a new vaper I now totally understand what variable voltage does for vaping. This is like going from a VW Bug to a Dodge Charger.

Sadly I noticed that my MVP, whom I affectionately call Frank, was lacking human interaction after his long voyage. Frank started off in China with a final destination in Florida. After a little sun & fun Frank is up to his old tricks again...providing me with loving vapor.

Two months later from your post mine finally got in. I must say the button drives me mad. Ex did an awsome trick to keep it upright, he's sometimes got those great ideas...
