When it goes yellow how much time is left?
I have been using it straight out of the box for a day and a half. I know it depends on usage and such. I have accumulated close to 500 puffs in that time frame. (Sort of alarming, but it is a new toy) When it goes yellow, what can I expect? Is there any harm to the battery if I go ahead and charge it while it is still green?

Won't hurt a thing to charge it while it's still green. Once you've hit yellow, it's not long till red. And it goes from red to dead super fast.

I try not to let mine get to yellow. LiPo batteries like to be kept at a higher state charge. Frequent charging can improve battery health. Charge early, charge often.

Welcome to the ranks.

I don't think mine has ever gone to yellow. I charge it pretty much once every day or so no matter where the voltage is at. The lowest I've ever gotten was 3.8 I think. It doesn't hurt anything to charge early. Like stated above, it's actually better to charge it early than to let it die a lot.

I'm with you and only once has it hit yellow. Once I'm up to 700 or more puffs I charge it and use my VV3's. Nice to be able to switch and not have a dead battery issue.

Well, after much research and deliberation here are my initial impressions having received my MVP 2 today along with an Aspire Vivi Nova:

I think innokin is listening to feedback. Mine just arrived today and it's fantastic. Button is really easy to press - they must have changed it as I was worried that it would be like Phil Busardo's unit. Also it stands up great, no wobble as the base and buttons are flush. Coming off an ego battery and cartridges followed by a terribly made evod this is an incomparable experience. The draw is so easy too and I'm only on 8 watts - pretty much as long as i'd draw a cig for the same vapour and hit (using T-juice Eastern Blend). The MVP looks and feels superb in shiny textured machined black and is much smaller than I expected. So far so good with the aspire vivi nova recommended - no leaks, no gurgles, no burnt taste, just impeccable performance. No buyers remorse here...long may it continue. Very happy so far! Can't fault it.

I finally had to put my MVP2 on the charger last night, it has been 14 days since last charged, Christmas day!!!! I alternate between three devices, Ego Twist, Vamo, and MVP2, and use 24mg. juice. I have been using 24 mg. for over a year and I notice my juice lasts me a long time, I also notice that I vape less often than I used to, I think that is why my battery lasted so long. I wouldn't say I'm a light vaper, just one who uses higher strength juices, therefore needing to vape less often. By the way my MVP2 wasn't all the way dead, it had just switched from yellow to red!

this is the specs, from Innokin MVP manual

1.Green LED light = battery voltage is more than 3.75 V.
2.Yellow LED light = battery voltage between 3.61V and 3.75V.
3.Red LED light = battery voltage is lower than 3.61V.
4.Red LED blinks for 8 seconds when battery capacity is lower than 3.3V(device turns off automatically)

some interesting facts about li-ion, from Battery U

Li-Ion does not need to be fully charged, nor is it desirable to do so...
in fact, it is better not to fully charge, because high voltage stresses the battery

every reduction of 0.10v% (charging) is said to double life cycle of battery
-charging the li-ion cell to 4.2v expect 300-500 discharge cycles
-charging the li-ion cell to 4.1v expect 600-1000 discharge cycles

so, charging the battery to 4.1v (not full 4.2v) will double the life of your battery

trying to get my mind around-all this takes place within about ½v of power spread...
(4.2v - 3.6v = 0.6v)

Hey everyone I just got my MVP v2 a week ago I just started to have a problem with my pro tank2 on it, it almost seems flooded, the draws are very very tight but they have not been before now, I am running a 1.8 ohm coil. The settings are at 3.7 and 7.0 Ohmster is telling me 2.1. If anybody has any advice please let me know the flavor is still great and not tasting burnt. Oh by the way I am using g2 jungle fever in 12 mg nic

I swapped out my coil when I had that issue, even though the flavor was still good. Fixed it for me.

Might also want to clean the base to make sure the air holes aren't being gunked up.
