We've had over 3500 posts on this thread without the ProVari vs the rest of the world argument...Let's not start now.

There are no right or wrong answers regarding owning anything. There are people here who would never own an MVP because of the form factor. I thought I was one of them.

There are people here who have no interest in variable anything and want to vape cig-a-likes or mech mods.

Point is we are all vapers, and there are no vapers better than other vapers based on their choice of product. It's bad enough that I have to watch extremely snarky ads on TV for Lexus and Infiniti filled with hipster d-bags.

It's an argument you can't win. If you go anti-provari, then you are seen as some troll with P-envy (take that as you will.) and if you are pro-provari, you are categorized as an elitist vaping snob.

I choose not to get a ProVari at this time because it is missing a feature that I feel is essential, variable wattage. Plain and simple. But even if ProVape does develop a "ProWatti" I'd still own a VV3 as a hot stand by and I would use my MVP 2's for out and about. If I accidently leave my PV somewhere, I want it to be a 40 dollar MVP vs a ProVari at 4 times that amount.

Bottom line, the pool is huge and there is plenty of room for all of us.

Now thats what I'm talking about! Had a recessed 510 connection added to my MVP at Social Lizzard in Carrollton TX. Love the flush mount and the elimination of space between the MVP and topper.

I have heard of this mod but that is the fist I have seen of it. Any one have a link for DIY on this?

Also what was the cost?

This is a MVP2 thread, but I see nothing wrong with anyone owning a ProVari and coming here for info on the MVP or VV3. Reading the Provari threads I noticed many owners of them also own a MVP.

Have you changed the coils in it yet?

When I turn mine upside down and start to remove the bottom the e-juice starts to come out of the drip tip.

Does that mean the tank must be completely empty to change the coil!!??!!

yepper - it's a top fill

but you have to flip it up-side-down
unscrew bottom to remove the coil

when bottom comes out (along with coil)
the silicone seal 'unseats' from top cap allowing juice to flow out
meaning tank has to be empty to replace coil...

all they are is a copy of vivi nova tanks (same exact design)
just two crossed coils & a truck load of wicking...

you COULD change coil from top with fluid in there (physically possible)
but that would be a tuff messy job and trying to get all those wicks back in--whoa !

Didn't know if its been asked. But I've notice my MVP seems to skip displaying the yellow light, it will go from green to red as it dies. When you stick it on the charger it turns green almost immediately. Is this normal and has anyone else experienced anything like this. The battery generally lasts a couple days on a single charge vaping at 8.5w on dual coils.

I try not to allow mine to reach yellow
but sometimes I don't realize (can't see ring on fire button)
it is there and surprises me, so I've started by checking the
remaining charge numbers...

maybe you've done the same ?

the manual says that :
green is 3.75 and above,
yellow is 3.61-3.75 and
red is below 3.61

:)

What do you mean by checking the charge numbers

Hi Folks
Just received my MVP yesterday and I'm very pleased with it. The pluses for me are:
Battery life - I'm a heavy vaper.
Flush mounted fire button - It can be stuck in your pocket or on the passenger seat with something on top of it and no worry about misfiring.
The shape and weight - I expected it to be like holding a brick but it is lighter than I expected. I have had a couple of tube mods and probably a dozen plastic box mods. I much prefer box shaped mods.

Already thinking about a second one to add to the arsenal.

The green light always comes on when it's charging. It will turn off when it's full.
