Could also be what I call "vapors tongue". Just got over almost two days of raunchy taste. Ego, mvp, svd, different tanks... nothing. All tasted horrible. Today... pretty much back to normal. It's not that uncommon from what I hear. Too much PG? VG? juice iritating? No clue but it happens.

That's what I was thinking. I gave it a day off and things tasted better. Now its back to raunchy. I have 12 mg nic juice and been cutting it down to 6 with VG, and maybe a few drops of PG. I tried straight and it wasn't much better.

I dunno. I wouldn't blame the local B&M that much. They have a lot of overhead. Rent, lights, etc. They have to charge more. While one that may be on line only has to have stock. And can be very limited and only stock what they want to sell. Could very well be some dude in his underwear sitting at his puter. :)

The local shop may have to stock a lot of stuff. And that can't usually only stock one mod or one bottle of juice. They have to buy a bunch to get a deal where they can make a buck. Even stuff they can't sell and they get stuck with a lot. I have a local shop that is a little pricey but I still deal with them because I want them around. If I need instant help it's nice to be able to talk to someone face to face.

So the way I figger it, it's like insurance. They have to eat too so don't be too hard on them. :)

Whoa, hold on there. I'm not upset by any means, but you don't know the situation. I was recommended this place by an acquaintance, and I trusted him because he's a vet. The proprietor of the store looked stoned outta his gourd and his unkempt store showed that he most likely was and still is. He sold me a generic eGo CTwist starter kit for $100, and with it a 10 ml bottle of some really good juice (he mixes what he sells, and he's good at that). I was in a way, led to believe the batteries were Joytech, but he took all the stuff out of the box and put it in the case.
I was excited at the time and common sense flew out the window, I'll admit to that, but I found it again after I got home and jumped on the net to find out more about my new toy. Found out they were not Joytech, but a fakie. I pulled the wool half way over my eyes and the dude helped with the rest. The next week I found another shop that has Kanger EVOD vv kits for $87 out the door. Much better quality of feel and performance IMO. I never went back to the other guy because I told myself that if the fakies last a month, they've paid for themselves and that they did.
With the MVP2, I purchased a way superior battery for less than half the price, and with the PT2 mini on top of it my investment is over for a while. Another thing is that I didn't do my homework before buying, I wanted a way from smoking in a hurry and I rushed the issue, plus I didn't find this place until recently. Plus there are a TON of shops around Denver, heck I pass three that I know of on my 5 mile commute to and from work, and there's probably more. They're like Starbucks here.

EDIT: Killer Juice has a sale going on now, $1.99 for 15ml bottle... Killer Juice - Natural Flavors Made in The USA

This is my first experience with tanks when I bought my MVP 2. There is a big difference in flavor compared to dripping. The flavor is bad using tanks. Both the iclear 16 and the mini protank 2's I been using anyways. It wasn't bad when they were new and first tried them. I might have to try the Nautilus again.

Depends on what your calling tanks. If your looking at an iclear30 or a viv nova or a nautilus the they are really oversize clearos. Try a good tank system like a kayfun or a russian 91. They are great because it is a RDA with a tank. I prefer the real stuff but there are some quality clones The russian 91 is great on the MVP.

Don't worry, I know how it feels to be ripped off. I posted something very similar to you a few days ago explaining how I own my own business and try to support other local business by buying from them. Some times it just doesn't makes sense if you can save 30.00 or more from an online store. I don't mind buying a tank or juice from my local shops but when it comes down to a few tanks, few juices, and a mod, then I have to shop online because it would be ridiculous to spend an extra 50-150 for no reason at all ! I totally understand having rent etc especially ny rent @ 13,750 a month it can be hard

PS- your store owner being high must be a negative side effect from CO ........ laws lol

The local shops will have no worries if those of in the know buy the more expensive stuff online. Because for every one of us that do this, there are 5 others that aren't savvy to online deals or don't want to shop online at all. So they will pay extra. I paid my initiation fee on my initial MVP but any further purchases other than heads and some of their tasty juices will be online.

Example: Local shop $14.99 for a Mini Nova BDC - Desert Vapes $7.95 for the same thing. Yeah you add in shipping but who orders just one thing when placing orders.

I ordered 2 each Vision Vivi and Mini Nova top coils, a Vivi Nova BDC and a bottle of sample juice for Desert Vapes and paid $46.95 shipped Priority. The same things would have cost around $80 local. Quite a difference.

Anyone else notice once you start adding some "vape" themed Facebook pages or product companies you get insane amounts of asian-ish friend requests ? And they are all selling some sort of knock off product, vapes, watches, tablets, etc lmao its like a secret black market underworld. If you ever come to NYC and want to see some wild stuff take a walk into china town. Crazy underground tunnels and hidden doors in book cases etc that lead to sweat shops that are making designer apparel and accessories and electronics lmao. You literally get a rush because you feel like your on the underground railroad or some secret cia tunnels lmao

Actually I did notice that. Just started happening recently though. I ignore most. I only like pages of companies I have personally dealt with or know have a good reputation. Same thing with twitter. I have got so many follows from vape companies I have never heard of.

Happy MVP2 owner! Thinking of buying a second one. Anyone have insight into where you can get good pricing?

Also, been considering a Provari (my friend has one and it is very nice), but concerned about battery life and carrying spares oak the time. The MVP is not super pretty, but it works so very well!

I would say Complete Vape but they are sold out ATM. They were $39.89 minus 10% when you use their Facebook coupon.

101vape: $39.99 but also out of stock ATM
Fastech: $45.16 but you may have to wait a while
Vapor Authority: $52.99

Lots of good prices from ebay sellers but I will let those that have bought from them chime in as to who is trustworthy.
