what are good bottom coil tanks?

I love my nautilus with the stainless steel cage tank. I also really like both the Protank 2, and the AeroTank Mega (although I've read some people having leaking issues with their AeroTank Mega and I've had that issue but a new coil stopped it from leaking).

Lol.. Ill take a, large slice.. No wait, better make it a, medium haha..

Man im sad to say but I haven't used my MVP in a got minute, but my gf has.. She uses it, more than her zmax mini, mostly due to battery life. never mind her telling me that she would NEVER use a box mod.. :chuckle:

Its ok.. This .34 ohm dual with rayon wicks on my nemmie suits me just fine. :fogs the room up:

Via a possessed phone thats autocorrect is just silly

Hi,

I figure that I'll ask this here as it's likely somebody else already did to their MVP 2 what I did and have experienced the same thing.

Basically I've turned the "beauty ring" that comes with the MVP2 into a whistler and I'd like to make it stop whistling.

In an attempt to get a bit more air flow when I'm using tanks that don't have an adjustable air hole, I enlarged the two holes on the beauty ring that comes with the MVP2. Well, now when I use a non adjustable tank like my ProTank 2 and apply suction, I get a whistle coming from the holes that I enlarged in the beauty ring.

I'm not sure if it now whistles because I've stumbled on a size of hole that causes this, or if perhaps one of the holes is slightly larger than the other hole and they are directly across from each other on the beauty ring, or perhaps there is some kind of metal shaving that is sitting in the hole that I can't see but which when air passes over it, makes a whistle noise.

I don't want to just go gung ho and drill out the holes any larger in case it makes it even worse, so wondering if anybody know why when making the vent holes larger on the beauty ring that comes with the MVP2, it causes it to whistle when vaping with non adjustable tanks.

When I enlarged the holes I did it by hand (no drill, just held the drill bit and twisted it by hand) and I've taken the bit that I used and gone in and out of the holes (again, by hand) to try and make sure there is no hanging shavings in the hole in case that's causing it but still it whistles.

Thanks

For the Protank 2 specifically, you can get the Aerotank adjustable airbase for like 3 bucks and it fits perfectly; I use it and love the airy draw for lung hits. Heres an example but you can get it cheaper:
Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Protank II, Protank 3, Aerotank

As for other tanks, yeah, the above recommendations are where its at :D

Well my superb experience with my nautilis mini tank has just been totally smashed into pieces it's leaking everywhere and won't vape at all nightmare off to find out what's happened just my luck

Bummer....Try the extra coil and/or keep it on the widest air setting to reduce flooding...Both of my units have performed stellar with the bvc heads. I realize that doesn't help you but I'm just putting it out there for your consideration.

In the process of doing exactly that lol just replaced it loaded up my juice (raging bull 70/30) and letting it sit for 20 mins... Sorted the leaking and no vape before I did this but was getting a really burnt flavour so trying this new coil.. Also contacted the seller to see what they say ( don't expect much from them)

Make sure you verify your unit by checking at the bottom right of this page Aspire - Best E Cigarete, Clearomizer, Tank, nautilus Then if your vendor wont help contact aspire directly at top of page(under "Contact")....If there's anything I can do P.M. me and I'll try my best- Dave

I think 101 gets labled from Innokin as un authorized seller
because they don’t sell at MSRP (but how does 101 keep getting them ?)
lord knows they’ve sold 1000’s of them…
I’ve only charged my MVP with my cell phone cable (A/C wall)
don’t sub-ohm; hardly ever passthru; charge way before yellow mostly;
and only charge up to 4.1 (don’t allow/before grn light goes out)
as far as I can tell, my MVP works just as it did from when I got it a year ago

I don’t abuse it, over tax it, but use it like crazy ! I’ve dropped it several times
but unless I told you, ya would never know...

and now I think of it, I've never charged from it...

I think the batch as of late has a internal problem
I can’t pin point manufacture start date of my thought problems,
but just from reading around, too many have complained as of late
about wonky MVP electronics… JMO !

this is the ‘guts’ of MVP (not a 18650)
heard refered to as ketchup pak batteries…

:)

Wow! Not at all what I expected the guts to look like. At least that battery setup gives me a little more confidence that a little drop here and there wouldn't cause an internal short (battery knocked off kilter). I'm steering more and more to the luck of just getting a bad one. Laws of probability and all that. For the price its really not going to kill me to by another one at $40. Thats only 4 days of smoking when I lived in Brooklyn!

Forgive me for being off topic but everytime I hear someone mention Brooklyn my mind starts humming this riff....
