No one does anything except that they think they will feel better in the doing of it.
Therefore, ones actions depend upon their starting place in how they feel. If they are happy, content and appreciate their life they are doing the moral, honest, uplifting activities to enhance the good feelings they already have. They buy & use the best.
If they are unhappy, discontent and lack appreciation for their life and are mistrustful of others they are doing the immoral, dishonest activities to protect themselves from the bad they perceive around them. They steal, cheat & abuse themselves and others because they feel it is the only way to get to feel better. Of course I am generalizing to make a point.

Well if you must think of bad thoughts that hurt the honest people. So I bet you would not buy a GGTS tube with out a serial number.
The fact is, it might as well be a clone with out a number. You can't even sell a early DID genesis with out a serial number ,because people think they are clones.
Don't stop a GG trade mark of putting serial numbers on GGTS tubes , because you think of bad people putting copy or cloned parts on it to deceive people that it's a 100% real.....
Why put GG or "by Imeo" or the wings then ?, don't put anything on them !!!!! All because there might be bad people out there trying to fool some people ? Please....
I do see a point here , however the good of it out weighs the bad by far !!!!!!!
I hate to say it but if there is concern about mixing and matching maybe the solution is to only make replacement engraved tubes for damaged gg's
You have a point here Mr. Without serials, the clones will be even more because copiers may put the GG logo on tubes and they will sell it as original. But with serials on engraved tubes, noone will put the GG logo and a serial too because he will be found for sure. Maybe I have to think twice about this issue.

The GGTS is the best , number 1 mechanical mod in the world , high class and it is because it has wings and a serial number and "by Imeo" and "to my friend". If you could put a letter after the serial number like : 5236B , OR , 5236-B ,the B could be sold as one piece by it self.......meaning you bought it to repace a bad messed up main body tube or you built one with GG parts.
P.S. by the way the serial number ; 5236 is my SS-GG Stealth listed in WIKI GG SERIAL NUMBERS !!!!
I also thought about having some kind of notification that it is a replacement serial number however there is a problem with that idea. Imeo would either have to make number tubes for most every number already out. Which if these are being sold just as replacements this is a huge cost to imeo for very little to no return. The likelyhood that even 50% of numbered tubes will need to be replaced if tiny which means a large majority of them will never be sold. The alternative would be to have tubes engraved as needed. The problem here is cost and time. For example lets say my number 223 needed to be replaced. i would have to write Imeo He would have to take a blank tube to his engravers and have it engraved. Then go get it and either ship it seperatly or I would have to wait till he made another shippment to a vendor. Now if 223 is my only device the wait could be terrible for me and the time would be bad for Imeo because he is always busy as it is. An alternative would be to have the vendors keep blank tubes but it would still be a lot of work for them as well. They would have to find good engraver and make special trips for 1 tube. Now they could wait till they had say 10 of them that needed to be redone but again my wait would be terrible.
All that said the current system could be very good or very bad. Anyone could buy an engraved tube and slap cloned parts and sell it as a GG which obviously is bad.
However being able to piece a gg together completely from parts if great for many people. People wanting a backup or even people who don't have the money to go all out on a GGTS can buy a part every paycheck or whenever they are in stock.
I don't think many people would put a GG together with cloned parts , the mark up is not that good. What could you make ? matbe $40.00 bucks ? $30.00. I think very few people would even try it....
But if you need to replace a GGTS tube that got messed up , I think you just get the next number up , not the same number you had , that would make is too difficult for sure !

I see a lot of problems by not putting serials to engraved tubes guys, so maybe we have to leave things as they are if you agree.
Imeo I agree. But please consider the idea that the guys made regarding adding something to the number for the spare parts like a letter. I am not sure if this would make your production less efficient.
Oh yes Imeo, keep them the same way , that's what makes a GGTS and GG Stealth and now the GG Ithaka what the are !!!!!!

I will Idaho. serials were made just for this reason. I was just thinking of a way to avoid copies but its impossible as I see it.
Serials are a must but I could encourage a note in with every one sold that encourages the serial number registration and the website to do so.

I totally agree Long. All people have to register their GG. That way new customers will know if a GG they want to buy is a clone or not
