Johnson Creek Juice Turning Green!

bluewolf, you definitely see that the liquid turned green in your brown bottles right ? cause that would kind of go against this sunlight theory that only affects the clear bottles maybe.
Hmmm You know what i had another starter pack that was in a closed drawer never seeing sunlight and i just noticed they are green as well
UV exposure with complications unique to JC liquid? Methinks this fox hunt has gone off course.
Ive kept most in a shaving bag, some in my pockets...some just sitting out. I just noticed it when the temp changed. I had them out in cabo san lucas for 2 weeks when i initially received them in Dec, it never dropped below 75 degrees there. Its dropped down to 30 degrees out here in California...maybe its the extreme change in temp? Who knows?

Well, I checked mine. None have been opened and they have been stored in a dark, cool room since I rec'd them Friday. None have changed color (yet).

It seems you guys are Johnson's Creek guinea pigs! First the atomizer clogging e-liquid, now the color changing e-liquid, it doesn't seem like this company did any kind of scientific research, correct me if I'm wrong, but with a statement like "we were truly baffled as to what may be going on here." should these people really be selling a drug that people inhale directly into the lungs?
If you vape any of the regular products, you are also a guinea pig! I think the "I don't know" response was refreshingly honest. You know big pharma has those moments all the time... They just have a lot of lawyers and media consultants to keep them from admitting it.
Point taken Bellinghamster, but should something like this be a 'make it up as you go along' product? I appreciate what Johnson's Creek is trying to do, but if they don't have the research invested in their product, should they be doing it at all? And I guess all e-cigs fall into that category, I hate to admit. There are alot of unknowns out there for a device that is supposed to be a healthier alternative to smoking, and I don't see them being taken seriously by the government of any country until these things are resolved, if they ever get that far.
Here is a response from Christian about temperature and indirect light when I told him that one bottle had been in a drawer in the dark.. "We're not ruling out temperature and we'll still test it but it would have been caused by the UV in the sunlight (even indirect light before placing it in a drawer).
Interesting line out of the first email sent to me.. "so we've checked with our lab (who analyzes all of our formulas.")

Yes I pored it into another bottle to see. see my pics earlier? the greenest one with blackish sludge is from a brown bottle.
I know my bottles have had no direct sunlight. They stay in a drawer. If my 2 choices are the sunlight or temperature I am going to have to say temperature. Although nothing has happened to the big bottle of vanilla that I have in my drawer.

Christian started as one of us and I'm sure he is always trying to do the right thing, to make the best liquid. Someone has written before that it would impossible to sue one of the mysterious Chinese e-liquid makers. But JC is in America, open to suit that would cost him everything he's invested.
He has every incentive to make quality liquid and stand behind it. If this all is based on "trust", and it is at this time, who would you rather trust?

Maybe if somebody can quickly get a bad bottle back to them it can be tested and we can be updated. I have 10 full sample bottles. I just don't want to be worried that bringing them out into any amount of sunlight is going to end up being a problem.
And just a side note. I fill small clear dropper vials with juice all the time and have them sitting out on my desk at home. I'll grab one or two when I leave for the day for topping off. They have been sitting out there for weeks and nothing's changed.
Maybe I should know what's really going on with the JC juice before I even try them?

Wolf, did you make a clear point to tell them that one of your greenies was from a brown bottle? They may want that info..
I ordered the Sample Kit too ... probably will ship tomorrow ... hopefully this will be resolved to every one's satisfaction before mine arrives ...
I must say I didn't really understand a lot of the "attitude" seeping through the Supplier thread .. guess I'm too new to have it all figured out yet ...
