i just sprung for a epower this morning from CCV .. should be interesting.. it was a toss up between epower and kgo..

I think you'll be delighted with your E-Power. Mine has worked flawlessly for 7 months or so now - the only problem I've had was changing the battery before I had my morning coffee. I knew better but did it anyway, putting the battery in backwards & promptly frying the switch (I had a spare). Next month's restocking day I'll order a couple more spare switches... these with the "idiot-proofing" 5-click feature I'd just as soon do without (I tend to side with Darwin on such matters). Thanks to Sailorman & CCV, I know where to get the New "new" version. Anyway as was clearly displayed by my battery incident, I am not above idiocy prior to my adequate dosage of morning coffee. Having learned a valuable lesson though I now consume my first three cups pondering the pertinence of proper polarity.

Best of luck, & Happy vaping! :vapor:

i am just waiting for my epower to come in.. i am dealing with the CIGIREX and its fine, but at night it dies on me.. But if i can get some adapter perhaps ill use this with my epower cartos when i go out with friends and i dont want to carry around what might be perceived as a weapon, im kidding but it is a big harder to throw in the shirt pocket.

i need to look into 510s like the joye because this small ecig i have is going to die sooner or later and i think i am really going to like the manual.. this automatic can be a bit of a pain..

Just for reference, I put a Resurrector carto on my E-Power just now & measured it: about 5 3/4" long, 6 1/2" w/ drip tip. Of course if you're using a Boge or other standard-size carto it will be a bit shorter. I carry mine in my shirt pocket all the time, with whatever attachment I happen to be using. Until 2 or 3 weeks ago, for a good while that had been short dripping atomizers & drip tips, but lately I've been playing with Vision Vivi Novas & a Stardust & some CE2s. Some of this stuff sticks out & looks funny but it doesn't fall within my nature to care, as long as it works. (I wear work shirts with fairly large, functional flap pockets so this may be easier for me than for most folks, I dunno.) :D

we call regular cigarettes analogs so i am surprised we don't call e cigarettes Digital cigs.. or Dcigs.

We shouldn't call them any kind of cigarettes. They're not cigarettes at all. The only reason they were stuck with that name was because some marketing types were short-sighted and used the name to attract customers. You don't see prescription nicotine inhalers called "Pump cigarettes". You don't see Nicorette gum called "Chew cigarettes". You don't see nicotine patches called "Stick-on cigarettes". PVs are no more cigarettes than those things are.

I'd prefer the name "vaporizer", or if someone is paranoid about the connotations of that name (and I don't know why they would be, since cigarette has worse connotations) then I'd re-name them "atomizers". That's what they are. It's accurate and it has no negative baggage associated with it. It even sound scientific, like "atom". What are you doing? Vaping? No, I'm atomizing.

Hehe...kGO or E-Power?

Personally, I think the epower's a better device now that there's an updated button. I'm partial to generic batteries though. That said, I don't own either Kgo or an epower. I don't have any skin in this one. You'll probably be happy with either one. The question you need to ask is what you have in mind to put on it. If you expect to use a lot of stuff that needs to integrate with the ego threads rather than just the 510 threads, it'll look cleaner on a Kgo. If you expect that to be an occasional thing. You can get a 510 to ego adapter and use it on the epower. It'll work fine. It just won't look as nice.

I'm okay with you flipping a coin :)

wow the price is high.. I was looking at some that were around 80 bucks.. however they had fixed batteries.. i guess that is what you have to deal with..

the lady at my office has an EGO and after looking at it, i found it to be very nice size.. not as bad as i had pictured.. i hope the epower is about the same size..

I posted this earlier but it does show relative size. They are from left to right an Apollo VTube Mini, an Epower 14650, and an eGo 650 mah...

Yeah. They're pieces of art really. That's why I just said to look, not buy. :)

If her eGo was 900-1000mah, the e-power will be close to the same size, maybe a little bit bigger diameter. If it was a 650, the pic tells the tale.

i would think the ego and kgo are the same size.. now the epower is going to be larger it seems.. i understand they have two size of epower.. but i guess they are larger because they are in fact more powerful and will last longer on a charge..

The e-Power is mostly thicker, not longer. Figure the battery is 14mm. That's a little over 1/2". Then you have the casing, so it's probably about 3/4" or less in diameter. The larger one is closer to 1" in diameter, but about the same length. They always look bigger in the pictures. I thought my Lavatube was going to be huge, and it's not at all. It takes an 18650 battery, but it's only about 3/4" diameter.

Hope this helps put things into perspective. This is my stainless steel E-Power 14650: in service for seven months. Due to parallax in this close up, the ends of the items don't appear to line up with the ruler, but they do.

I didn't have a cigarette available for comparison purposes, for obvious reasons.

Included in this photo is a Smoktech LR XL length carto and drip tip. I never use this rig without a drip tip.

E-Power 14650 dimensions:

Tube diameter: 17mm or 11/16"
Length to cone end: 126mm or 5 1/8"
Total length as shown w/ XL carto and drip tip: 164mm or 6 7/16"

Fits easily in my Levi's pocket. Battery lasts all day. Put in a charged 14650 at 8 PM I'll be replacing it with another charged battery about 8 PM the next day. I don't like fetters. I won't be plugged into a USB all day long.
