Got my extra batts today so I can vape on the LPV2 without trading off. It is working great and I really like this little thing.

Button still works fine and I am getting tons more vapor with the new battery. I hope these will be a regular item cause I think they have a place, especially for first time mods.

Loving the zebra look. I am still going to do something with mine when I have some time. Had to work today and too tired to think about it right now.

ROFL there's your first mistake, I NEVER know what I'm talking about. However my information came from the hubby, and I can't believe I'm about to say this, but he DOES know what he's talking about and he's almost always right. Oh that hurt to even type it. He says that the Noalox and Ox-Gard will work the same. So if you can find either you are in good shape. He also said you should clean the threads and reapply it once a month.

As for the kitty, my daughter sent that to me LOL

LOL at the "hurts to even type it" Okay so you didn't make the rechargeable kitty but did do a fantastic job on the laser.

Thanks Electricnut. I will use that. I am also thinking that WitchWay must know what she is talking about since she made that rechargeable cat. :D

    hiya dragon lady.

(kinda feels funny typing that now but it's habit :) )

I had to quote the above quote for the sake of WWs husband just in case WW decides go back and edit it before the editing deadline runs out. :p

Exactly! The more I use it, the more I like it. It is great to see the changes and adjustments each of us is and has gone through. The beta test and this thread was a great idea. I also like the differences between all of us and our vaping levels and devices we have used. Nice spectrum of testers. I know all of us are thankful to Isaac and Val for letting us do this. Both of them are such wonderful people.

Thank you Thy and everybody that sent compliments. I haven't been around much for a couple days. Business is kicking our butts here, but that's a good thing. So I'm catching up all at once LOL

Hmmm skink? I don't think that would be a good name for the LPV2 ROFL. I have looked at lizard patterns though.

    lol congrats on being busy.

Yeah skink wouldn't make a great name lol I found that pic a year or two back though and was absolutely amazed with the vivid colors of that little sucker. And seeing your design and thinking of the Chameleon just brought him back to mind lol

I don't mean to hijack the thread but can someone answer one more question please? Do I put this only on the caps threads or should I also do the threads inside the tube? Thank you again.

Never used any of it myself yet. But I would think you should be fine just putting it on the cap threads as it will transfer to the tube threads when putting it together.

I thought that might be the case but wasn't positive. After I posted that last question I'm thinking to myself "how should I apply it" so I tried a q-tip which didn't really work, then a scrap of cloth and finally just used my finger. Then I thought "does it matter if any of this happens to get on the end of the batt and if so what happens?" Then I thought "why did I say I would only ask one more question?" Okay, okay, I admit it, I Am Challenged. :lol"

I think I am still alive and with you. I do vaguely remember not feeling well afterwards. What if I am wrong and am in reality just a ghostly presence who hasn't come to terms with what happened. Ohhhh, I am so confused now. 8-o

Neither fit in the LPV2 but both fit in the LPV1. So hubby gets those and I get all the unprotected ones. So it seems it may be a hit and miss with the protected batteries and the LPV2.

I only got 2 out of 4 of my protected batteries to fit in the LPV2, and one was a tight fit. I gave up and went for the Janty batteries, they claim to be protected, but I don't see any evidence of it. As long as I don't feel them getting hot (I pay close attention), I am not going to worry too much about it. So far, I have not had any problems. I also removed the O ring, it gives the PV a more finished look IMO.

I still don't know if using WD40 on the threads is a good idea or not. I won't be going to the hardware store for a few days, and wanted to try using what I have on hand. I've got my 901-510 adapter now so I have been using a 510 atty all day today, it's working great! I need to clean my 901, it started to put out less vapor (I use only VG dilluted with some distilled water) so my coil gets gunked up pretty fast.

Still vaping away on the LPV2 with no real problems. The button is still working fine. :D

    not sure about the WD40.

Yeah I forgot to mention earlier on that the little button "issue"(that wasn't really an issue) hasn't occurred since the first day or two.

I just put mine on the cap then put it on and off a few times and that was that.

    ROFL He appreciated it!

Ok I asked hubby since he knows it all *snicker* and he said WD40 should be fine for temporary use until you can get to the hardware store.

Thank you aspen... LOL don't be jealous, I actually got lucky that it turned out like it did. I made a lot of mistakes in both the template and the application. But I'm working on getting things fixed so it will be something anybody can do. It does go edge to edge. Here is a pic without the necklace so you can see the chrome cap better.

Sure does give a nice finished look. I thought it kind of funny cause I have been hearing talk about skins for some time and here you just walk in nonchalantly and throw down a beautiful looking PV. If you have made this available let me Thank you for sharing, I would think this could bring a lot of interest and fun with designs and such. Your such a sweetheart. :)

    Hi aspen,

So it would be okay to use the dry temporarily? Just so I don't damage the threads and until I can find some Noalox.

I don't recall seeing any Ox-Gard (thanks WitchWay) either but at least I now know I could also use that.

Sorry I had to leave yesterday quickly. No worries tho looks like you got your answers, great group.

    Hi whiskey,

Just wanted to answer your question about batts. I bought two protected from MadVapes. I can definitely attest to the fact they are not all the same. The first one had fit in snugly, the second a little more snugly, but the second one would not come out. I think it had something to do with the coating. This in no way was the fault of MadVapes or the laser. It was my fault entirely. I really should have known better when the second one had a tighter fit. I just wanted you know that yes they can vary. I don't think it is the size of the battery, just the way the coating has been applied.
