All my tools r expensive. I wont buy cheap tools. If ur going to do a job right u need good tools. That applies to anything not just vaping.
Just because tools are expensive doesn't mean anything. Snap-on is a perfect example.

The Kennedy comes with stardard hex grub screws. I bought a bunch of extras at Ramseys. They fit perfect cause I stripped one and had to get some. Now I have an allen screw driver. I wont strip them now. The little allen keys will stip them easy.

Yep, I bought a wide range of grub screws and keep them on hand. While quality gear like from Kennedy don't cheap out there are many that do. I've had to replace many from grub screws from Wotofo, Geek vape, etc.

a set of Wiha allen drivers from Amazon is a good investment. Quality tools and they're reasonably priced. If you really want nice ones, Hudy is an option, but they're very expensive.

Yep have a set of Wiha myself, excellent tools. You hear a lot of .....ing about allen grub screws stripping, 99% of the problem are they are using the cheap freebie allen key and/or manufactures like Wotofo using really poor quality grub screws. Anyway Wiha have been excellent.

I learned that valuable lesson when I was a gear head in High School, you just don't cheap out.

True, Snap-on used to be quality like Craftsman but not for a couple of decades. I've been having good luck with German tools. Plus the flush wire snips I have are excellent quality, they're Tronex. I got tired of having to consistently replacing crap wire cutters from Harbor Freight or included in kits.

You just need to shop around and do your homework to find quality tools.

I still have quite a few Snap-On and Craftsman tools from the 80's. They're still pristine. I wouldn't pay for Snap-On OR Craftsman anymore, though. One, I'n not going to live long enough to wear out a Husky and Two, if I do, I'll go buy another one. The old Snap-On stuff was very nice but for what I need to do these days, it's throwing money away. Uncle Sam didn't think we needed Snap-On to fix F-15's either....

Yeah I did have the same from the 80's myself, don't have them anymore (long sorted story which involves an ex-wife). I did buy a small wrench and screw driver set of Craftsman in the late 2000's, pure Chinese Crap!

Anyway when it comes down to Vaping tools I shop around the quality Jewelers tool suppliers, I've had good luck there.

I think good quality equipment will last a long time if you care for it. That's kind of the nice thing about some older equipment, it may be simpler, but if well cared for it lasts a long time. Most of my new (to me) provaris have taken a beating and just kept on going. And yes, with the right supplies, luck, and a nice simple but durable build, atomizers can last a long time. I have learned with stuff I like that is glass, however, to make sure I secure some extra tanks, and I do it fast, before they vanish, and if I can get a cage or some type of durable plastic, well I DO IT.

I have smashed tanks by looking at them funny. That's what comes with being a Mistress of the Dark Nicotinic arts, sometimes you just don't know your own POWER.

I don't blame the destruction of my Ares on my dark Arts. Those just decided to start sucking and breaking for no reason. Fortunately, since I love my Zeniths, well, I don't complain too much, but yeah the drop in part of the Pair Reviewer's Pair is far, far better, if you ask me.

LOL

I've been using a Devil rda for about 6 months now, roughly 33% of my vaping is on it - I still haven't changed the coils. Mostly because two of the screws snapped upon installation so I literally can't. Fortunately they're made of kanthal so I just dry burn them, scrape them, rinse and repeat until they look clean again, although I have bought a replacement build deck for it - I'm just curious how long it will be before it actually produces worse flavour than my other two "daily" use rda's.

the only RTA that didn't hold up were my HyperSRT tanks, which were a hellish RTA with a plastic tank and plastic DECK. it had an exposed red insulated wire inside the tank with the juice I remember. I remember melting the wick holes wider with a soldiering iron to stuff a cotton build into it & it leaked everywhere after that. probably still have it though...

even my $5.99 smoktek octopus RDAs are still good to go. the posts unscrew & wobble in my A7s.. I think if you're going to buy cheap RDAs from China, look for designs that have little room for wear. fewer removable parts, fewer threaded parts, fewer sliding parts. fewer silicone parts. no glass/plastic. the solid metal RDAs will last forever, like a block of stainless steel would.
