I googled Ninja and all I got was some techno babble. Nothing about age verification. I'm not sure what to do about this one. Unknown I guess since I can't verify that there is an AV service called Ninja.

They state, "FDA and state laws require that vape and ecig stores verify the age of their customers with a photo ID both in person and online."
This is a false statement as the FDA doesn't require a photo ID for online transactions.

Sound like the "verify-ers" in this case don't understand their own business, nor the FDA requirements.
The only reason a DL would be needed is if a person could not be verified thru the huge database that exist for this stuff.
I really feel bad that Plume Room is using them, they are going to kill off some of their business with this decision.
Interesting. They indeed say what you posted on the first link but on the second link it says "…We help Vape & eCig merchants comply with FDA, state and local requirements……and allows for photo ID verification". Totally different meaning.
This came with my Verda Valley Vapes receipt. They are checking, just don't know what they are using.

After RockinVapeStudios emailed me about the phone # requirement...I emailed them back about the differences between Bluecheck (what they were using) and Veratad.
Their reply:
To tell you the truth, we’re not getting much luck with working with Blue Check. Thanks for the heads up, We’re going to give Veratad a shout-out and see what they have to offer. We’ll let you know if we end up switching.

IIRC...from the PDF posted in this thread...Bluecheck stated that they do store Name, (Address ?) and DOB...for quicker subsequent age verification...
But they stated that they do NOT store last 4 of SSN...that it was deleted after verification is finished...

Just finished an order as a retuning customer with a vendor as of yet not on the list. Oder went through with no additional information requested and has now shipped. Thus my reluctance to give the name of the vendor, but under their "age verification" heading in their terms it just says something like "we reserve the right to use a third party verification system and to ask for additional information, if necessary." Guess that would make them an "unknown?"
I can't add them to the list without a name. Could you PM me the name?
I made an order with MVS, and per the list they use Veratad. The order went thru, no muss, no fuss, just like nothing had changed.
