I don't want to beat a dead dog, but I'm sitting here enjoying this sooooo much. I've figured out how to make a mean wick....I'm really getting good at it. I can make a good wick with the right resistance (for me) every time, and it's just awesome. I am not a newbie by any means, but I am new at this rebuildable world, and I really didn't know totally what to expect. I just wanted something rebuildable in order to make myself less at the mercy of constantly ordering new stuff, and just so that in whatever situation I found myself, I'd have an atty. What I DIDN'T know was that this would be such a great vape. It's better than my cartomizers, my 510s, my 306s, and even my HH-357s that I've been using. I just didn't expect it to be so good.....and now a little over a week into it....so easy. That's all. :) Thanks, Clyde, for turning me on to this.

Jen, The are a wonderful atty. Been using mine not stop about the same time frame and WOW My juice never tasted so clean and freash. No burn taste not spitting atty. Just supper clean monster vapor.

I will be picking up a few more as time and $ will allow. I think my days of standard attys are over. :)

I made one last order from Avid Vapor when I heard that the Chalice was going to be a reality. That was over two months ago. I ordered 3 901's and vowed to never again purchase another disposable atty. Well, now that the Chalice is here I can honestly say goodbye to those disposables. They served me well enough to get my off the stinkies, but I'm sure glad I never have to buy another one. On to bigger and better...

Mine should show up this week.

Could everyone thats happy with them post up what size/type wire and wick they are using.
Just trying to get an idea what I should order.

Thanks

My favorite setups are 32ga kanthal with cotton wick and 30ga kanthal with vertical 400 ss mesh. It has worked well for me with almost anything I've tried. I am loving the vertical ss mesh flavor though.

Using 34ga nichrome with square braid cotton wick (#3 size). I'm having to double up the 34ga to make a lower resistance wire otherwise 2 wraps puts me over 3.0ohms. With the 34ga doubled over and twisted, I'm getting 1.7ohms from 5 coils. Vertical wick arrangement, with the top leg of the coil wrapped around the screw.

Next purchase will be 32ga kanthal.
